my friend says time traveling ruins your town, how many people agree with that? I dont really mind my neighbors moving away and my town filled with weeds?

1. This belongs in the Nintendo section. Besides the fact that this is talking about both Animal Crossing games, and only one is Wi-Fi compatible, there's also the fact that what you are talking about has nothing to do with Wi-Fi.

2. Meh, though there are times that it can be nice, for the most part I find it funner just to let the game go naturally. I do time travel, but I mainly do it just to get through the days that Nook's store is closed for upgrading and for getting turnips, I usually can't play my game on Sunday mornings.

Depends how long you travel for. Time traveling will spoil your turnips, so if you're going for the big money it's a strictly bad idea, going back a few hours in the day because you missed an event is ok. When I was playing the gamecube one a few years ago I wanted to see the new years countdown, so I put the clock to december 31st, forgetting to change the year back to the previous one. My town was burtsting with weeds, it was about that time that I stopped playing.

I've never time traveled. It's silly IMO. I can understand going back a day or two because you missed something, but skipping to all the holidays is just plain dumb. I prefer to let the game just go normally.

i skip many days for fruits and accessories. i get zero weeds!! and im in march!!!!

I've only really time-travelled to get most of K.K. Slider's songs, so I only go back like 5 minutes every time.

i time travel to get to sunday mornings for turnips but the lady is never there.
