Tip to Quickly Beat the Game

Here's a tip to beat the games quickly, so you can catch pokemon that appear after the games (e.g. Latios and Latias) and access the new areas (Battle Frontier, etc.)

This works best with a Blaziken in my opinion, as it can beat two of the elite 4 effectively.

You need to get a torchic, get through the game until you reach Petalburg, and trade that Torchic over to another game (that's perferably already finished past the elite 4.) Train it up in the other game, and trade back to the original. Because the OT remains the same, the Torchic (which might be a Lv.60 Blaziken by now) will be at a high level, and it will obey you.

So, with a high level pokemon that'll obey you, you should be able to finish the game in twelve hours.

Back I guess??
Pokémon with the same ID number disobey you when you don´t get the Badge limit...
like when you get the knuckle badge any pokémon below the level 30 will obey you, if not, every Pokémon won´t.

true true... but they are less likely to do so..... it's still a gamble

No, as long as you're the OT, it will allways obey you. For example, if you traded said torchic to a completed emerald, raised it to lvl 100, and traded it back, it would still obey you since you were the original trainer. It was to prevent people from trading in extremely strong pokemon, but they can't prevent you from trading one of yours out and then back in much stronger.

<-Gonna get you!
You could do that trick, but I still beat the game in 10 hours without it. If you're really desperate, then do it.

lol, You can anyway beat the game within that time limit...

CHECK OUT MY TRAINER CARD SHOP!!!!

I just finished it a week after I made the thread, it took 5 hours and 47 minutes, and 2 hours of training it up to Lv. 59.

Well yes, but even lv.60 Blaziken wouldn't stand a chance to Drake or even Wallace. You need to have the other pokemon. Another story if lv.100. Yeah, but then how do you catch the Groudon and Kyogre in Emerald with Blaziken...? Hydro Pump or Earthquake...Blaziken down.

What I meant by this was to beat the elite 4. And blaziken does grow levels while it goes through the game. By the time I faced Juan (I have emerald) it was level 72.

WRONG! in emerald ruby and sapphire, your starter always listens to you. even if it is level 80 and you only have the first badge it still listens, i know from experience (that experiment lasted weeks i tell you!)

Going through the game, from the beginning, with a lvl 60+ Blaziken, while all the opponents you face up until the Elite Four are under lvl 50? Where's the fun in that?

I managed that in 11:32 with a team of hand raised Lv. 50's.

True you don't beat the game to beat the game you beat it for fun and it is easy anyway. Also this works better with Swampert (With ice beam, surf and earthquake)

A Blaziken might die against Glacia though. I can beat this game in under 12 minutes so i don't need this. It is a nice idea though. But, it still takes quite a while to train your Torchic up to level 60 (or higher). I already have 1 of each Lati@s. Plus, I kinda don't like the Battle Frontier. Nice idea ;]
