TMs and HMs In R/B/Y

Hello everyone
Just wondering if i could get some advice on using TMs and HMs as you play through the game, so as you know you only get one of each TM, except for the few which you can buy...and HMs you can use as many times as you want BUT you can't forget them. So when you are playing through the game, which pokemon is best suited to learning an HM without losing out as a pokemon fighter itself and which TM should be saved for which pokemon?
In your opinon of course...?

This would be one hell of a long list so I'll keep it short and simple. The only HM (IMO) that shoud be taught to a pokemon intended for competitive battling...well in any of the games is Surf.

Unless I know exactly what my team is going to be, I don't teach powerful TMs unless absolutely necessary.

Well, for the most part, it depends on what you're gonna teach them to isn't it? Teaching a Machop Seismic Toss would be a very stupid thing to do, but it's one of the best to teach to Chansey, and so on and so forth...

The list is WAY to long so the only hm you should be teaching a pokemon for use in your team is fly and surf. there the only ones you should use.

It's not "WAY to long", it's only 55 moves. I've already listed them, so basically all you have to is see if you agree with them, and say otherwise.

People mostly use HMs on slaves.

Surf - Lapras
Fly - Any flying pokemon that can't learn any better move.

OK the next person that replies to say anything about just Fly and Surf (cos, if you haven't noticed, it's basically exactly what Fallen Guardian and I have already said) gets a warning. It's not hard to say a little more than just repeating other people.

I personally dig all the HM moves in red/blue/yellow. Flash & Cut for wild PKMN (Capturing) Flash for stalling and saving your PKMN (Also, you can get an advantage if you use Flash a few times on a strong PKMN...just gives you a bigger number on winning :)) from attacks and a basic weak attack Cut to slow`em down. Surf, Strength and of course Fly is for filler moves to attack. And besides that Fly can also stall. You benifit...not sure if red/blue/yellow loses Power points (PP). Now this is MY opinion, but i'd use these only:

Mega Punch
Mega Kick
Bubble Beam
Ice Beam
Thunderbolt
Earthquake
Psychic
Rock Slide

Now I wouldn't go on and sell them right away...Just put them in your PC and let them stay there (Just incase you wanna train a diffrent PKMN and it needs some moves ;)) I hope this helps ^^;
