Togepi

I've completed the Fmae Checker may times, I know that the man who gives you the Togepi egg says something about Daisy, but I got 100 Pokemon and got loads of my old pokemon off Pokemon Box, and I thought 'I may as well release the Pokemon I have two of' so I released my Togepi, I took the Togepi to the man but he didn't say the thing about Daisy.
My question is: If I hatched another Togepi egg so it has my OT and ID will he say it or does it have to be the one he gives you?
