    Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
    Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future
    Sorry for any inconvenience with this and sorry for any lost posts.
  • Hi all. We had a couple of reports of people's signatures getting edited etc. in a bad way. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and nobody has compromised any of our databases.

    However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar passwords to elsewhere which has been accessed, people and even bots may be able to access your account.

    We always recommend using unique passwords, and two-factor authentication if you are able. Make sure you're as secure as possible

This weekend is the second half of Unicorn's season as a marathon for 4th of July (even if it's not 4th of July yet).

Next weekend starts with an encore for 2 episodes of My Adventures with Superman:

And then the weekend after, Toonami goes back to being FLCL's ********:

...Maybe preparing to properly debut the fourth season? Meaning they will also rerun Progressive and Alternative?

Toonami messed up by jumping a whole episode for Dr. Stone (S3 EP6). They're airing the correct one tomorrow, and re-airing EP7 the next weekend.

So now we basically have an extra week of nothing new for it.

It's also been announced that they are producing another 'original' anime called Lazarus. Look it up if your interested I'm not posting the plot description.

I fail to understand why they keep putting this **** out when most of their 'original' animes have been outright bombs (critically at least. Most have been received poorly as well outside of Fena I guess but I feel like that one was mostly received poorly as well. It didn't intrigue me in the slightest)

Let's not forget to mention they still refuse to air Attack on Titan Final Season The Final english dubbed

Are they showing FLCL Progressive or the original one?
Ninja Kamui might have potential though I wonder how likable its main character might be.

Actually I think they are doing "somewhat" good, though I base that off of stuff like Yashahime which Toonami did get relatively fast. And even with some of the same voice actors from the previous show from a long time ago! Of course its another question if that kind of momentum can carry all the way through a whole year or however long it takes for a new stand out to appear.

Maybe they need to try and snag Gundam (Mercury witch) or Zoids or something.
FLCL Grunge does not look bad, its probably at least worth a glance I suppose. Although I personally prefer the other art style a little more. And hey Teen Titans did a transition like that for Teen Titans Go and that turned out ok, right? RIGHT?!!

FLCL has never been the most logic based series and Grunge does nothing to change that. I would say that it seems so so for a start. The animation style is not quite my preference. Also unlike TeentitansGo I think it might be a little too violent for kids. Maybe it will get better but I'm not sure where they are going with this direction?

Looks like FLCL Grunge is only 3 eps. Might be for the best... this anime is ****. What a shock.

Shoegaze...they're all named after musical genres, excluding the first one. I haven't watched any past the first one, which wasn't really my style.

I still haven't sat down to watch any of the sequels, just never felt the need to.

Grunge being three episodes is freakin' hilarious, though. Same with Shoegaze, for some reason they just want to match up with the original's length, apparently. They're just desperate for relevancy when there's so many other shows out there they could be licensing.

Also when the hell is Uzumaki going to air? They said it would be this year, and we're coming up to October fast. I can accept November, too, if needs be, but this is getting ridiculous.
