Looks like they couldn't get Season 2 of Mashle. Though I'm surprised they didn't let Invincible Fight Girl finish her second run when it's short.

Also, surprised at seeing double BE when the series with higher episode counts could use it more.
Either they really ARE playing the other seasons, or they're trying to get it over with and out of way ASAP to replace it. :confused:

Though of all the shows to start the block with... -_-

I do hope they air the other Blue Exorcist seasons so I can begin to get caught up... but it's not the end of the world if they don't (because I have a Crunchyroll sub)

Doesn't seem to bode well but that's just me with my conspiracy hat on again I guess. At the end of the day only time will tell obviously.

I know people don't like it when regular AS shows are part of the block, but it's actually a good (or at least decent) fit for them. It certainly has more plot, depth, and intrigue than most AS shows. It certainly could've been a lot worse.

Though if they had resort to company owned programming, I wish they'd gotten a DC show or something from Genndy T instead...

Also, FLCL Shoegaze replaces Grunge.

The Toonami list is boring. Outside of Common Side Effects they're all big name anime with generic episodic stories.

I'd like to see Toonami get a simulcast like Sorairo Utility or something that previously aired and did well like Magilumiere

My first impression of Lazarus is that it makes me think about what a Cowboy Beebop 2.0 might look like. Naturally the stories are very different but this is what I think so far. The way the doctor was giving his speech actually reminded me a bit about the opening for the early seasons of One piece: First it has Gold Roger saying something about how he hid this great treasure out there somewhere but you will have to find it yourself! (and then the pirate rap song made by 4Kids starts)
Well the context is not quite the same but anyway..

Honestly, CN as a whole has been on a rapid decline towards ending all programming for the past few years. Adult Swim seems to be the only thing keeping the channel alive.
