League (Do)...

Feraligatr - Belongs to a league only rival, similar to how Tyson had Sceptile and Donphan.
Gallade - We are yet to see it in action and I think it would be an amazing competitor...the same rival?
Pidgeot - Would love to see one finally kick some real butt with attacks such as Heat Wave and Brave Bird.

League (Don't)...

Steelix - Seen enough of it.
Hariyama - They're everywhere these days
Lucario - Hate the thing...Sorry, but I do.

Grand Festival (Do)...

Ambipom - Dawns...Returns briefly to help her throughout the GF.
Ledian - Could do amazingly in a contest. Would love to see one with Dawn, but as long as we see it somewhere, I don't mind.
Probopass - Something you wouldn't expect to see in a contest, could be pretty cool.

Grand Festival (Don't)...

Milotic - I love the thing, but we do see an awful lot of it.
Leafeon - I want to see it kick some league butt instead of doing poncy appeals.
Beautifly - Seen enough of it.

- With HG/SS coming out I would like to see all 3 starters Feraligatr, Typhlosion, and Meganium.

Don't
- Swampert because it's butt ugly
- Steelix becuase it gets too much face time
- Toxicroak because it's just as ugly as Swampert

Don't:

Milotic: Its always a powerhouse and its like three coordinators top Pokemon. We get it its beautiful and can do cool moves, but if you expect me to believe Piplup has a chance against it... come on.

Roserade/Roselia: Drew used all those types of appeals like crazy in the last season and did a good job then, but lets leave it at that.

Delcatty: I thought after our exposure to Skitty we would be done, but they squeezed this guy in there anyway. Alright but now this cat has had its day. Since Glameow, or possibly Purugly if Zoe's evolves, is due for an appearance, we can cut down on the kitties.

Do:
Spinda: Since battling may not be as interesting to watch, I think moves like Teeter Dance or Faint Attack could be cool to see as a contest appeal.

Togekiss: I think that contests would be an awesome place to see this guy debuted. I know the Toge- line has been given almost an super-rare quality to it in the anime, but come on with its range of moves an possibilities it could do any number of things for appeals and in the contest battles would be sick to watch.

Gallade: I know it would be cool to see in the Sinnoh league as well, but having a good fighting type in contests isn't all that common. The way Gallade moves and battles could be cool to watch like a kung-fu or swordsman kind of thing. And since it can use psychic attacks to its appeals would be cool to watch as well. Note: this is not an invitation for a Medicham appearance.

Ugly is an argument? They look pretty cool to me both of them so i wouldn't mind seeing either of them there :p.

Grand Festival:

Do:

1. Meganium - I want to see some grass appeals and i would like a Meganium doing contests
2. Sentret/Furret - just i would like Dawn to get a Sentret.
3. Mamoswine - i want to see him doing contests

Dont:

1. Roredade Line - Overused in my opinion
2. Milotic - Once again
3. Fightning pokemon i just dont like theyre appeals(Machoke ,etc).

Steelix - It has been used way to much, we don't need to see Ash battle yet another one. Give other Steel types a chance like Fortress or Mawile

Hariyama - Overused and Ugly, Ash dose not need to battle yet another one.

Spinda - Would love to watch it pull off some bizarre battle/appeal, it could be a great match-up for Dawns Bunny.
Shedinja - Would like to see one pull of a creepy and spooky appeal.
Bayleaf/Maganium - to get Dawn excited for a Chikorita.

DON'T

Milotic - Overused, Boring has already shined in both Appeals and Battles
Clefairy - Ugly, Creepy looking and an extremely boring and overused Pokemon. And if I see one more metronome self destruct I will scream.
Eevee and its non-Leafeon Evos - Eevee is overused and boring, its 1st and 2nd gen evos have all had their fair share of screentime and we have already had (or will have) 2 Eeveeultion contest battles in D/P, plus all the "Eevee use Shadowball" time with May.

2 - powerhouses used by the Gym Leaders (Rampardos, Roserade, Lucario, Floatzel, Drifblim, Bastiodon, Abomasnow and Luxray) and Elite Fours (Drapion, Hippowdon, Infernape, Bronzong and Garchomp).
3 - I've already exceeded the limit.

1. Leafeon-It deserved it. A useful 4th gen Pokemon will be always cool...
2. Togekiss-Same as Leafeon.
3. Skarmory-Steel type, but still has talents....


Don't:
1. Milotic-Co Ordinators are winning festivals just because they have that stupid and ugly fish!? I am never going to unerstand why is it soo special. How stupid....
2. Roserade-It and it's pre evo Roselia are getting to much shine...
3. PINK Shellos/Gastordon-I am really sick of them, but only boring Pink ones...

*Scizor. It's way overused these days.

Do:

*Wailord. Seeing a Wailord appealing would be awesome.
*Froslass. It's beautiful and pretty well suited for contests.
*Lopunny. Some Buneary VS Lopunny action.

Don't:

*Blissey. Just because.
*Milotic. Way overused.
*Beautifly. Way overused.

DO:
1. Persian/Ninetales/Houndoom- Stunning and Powerful. Not showcased enough.
2. Tyranitar/Gallade/Flygon- Bad*** and no screentime.
3. Rapidash/Dunsparce/Porygon- They just need the spotlight.

Don't:
1. Lucario line/Garchomp line- They're boring now but watch us see one.
2. Steelix/Salamence/Gyrados- Big bad pokemon that overshadow other powerful ones.
3. Arcanine/Metagross/Scizor- I love all three of these but give them a break.



Grand Festival

Do:
1. Leafeon/Tropius/Tangrowth/Meganium- All capable grass types that could perform interesting appeals. Not to mention they are awesome and need the love.
2. Dragonite/Dusknoir/Feraligatr- Would make interesting appeals.
3. Purugly/Muk/Slugma- Not the most appealing pokemon but we can't have all cute and all beautiful pokemon all the time.

Don't:
1. Eevee Line(except Leafeon)/Roserade Line- Seen enough
2. Milotic/Glameow/Pink Shellos- Again seen enough
3. Bug or Ice types- Everyone and their mama has one. Only exception is if it's undershowcased.

I just hope they don't overhaul the league with Johto Pokemon because of HG/SS. We get that it coming but they dont have to shove Johto Pokemon down our throats

Cloyster - long time no see, and definetaly an underrated pokémon
Primeape - my first favorite pokémon, so I'd like to see one in the league.

Don't:

Jynx - hate that one

Drapion - had enough appearences for now!

The Hoenn League had a nice mixture of all three generation's pokemon. They didn't overload on Kanto pokemon. Sinnoh will probably have a nice mix of all 4 region's pokemon

There were slightly less Johto pokemon than Kanto or Hoenn so this time we may be lacking a bit on the Kanto and Hoenn pokemon and get a ton of Johto and Sinnoh pokemon.
