Top 3 worst pokemon designes

1. Venusaur - I love Bulbasaur and Ivysaur... but this one is just ugly.
2. Garbodor - I don't like the idea of Pokemon designed after man made objects (although I do like the look of some) but I can admit that Trubbish is cute... this is just not.
3. Jynx - Self explanatory.

Stop comparing the Vanillite line to lines like the Exeggcute line just because their food. Ice cream is not natural, eggs are. That being said, I do like the Vanillite line.

to be honest everyone has there own opinion about the worst designs of pokemon...so its hard to say and agree with everyone but for me....

1.) trubbish and its evolution? (wtf its a trash bag evolving into a bigger trash bag)

2.)bidoof and its evolution? (it just looks plain ugly)

3.) butterfree/beedrill ( i love my starting of me playing pokemon but come its just a bee and a butterfly :/ )

4.) sorry i must add one more patrat and its evolvtion? ( another ugly pokemon that just is a beaver/gofer look) just the same design as bidoof but slightly different

Seriously? Muk is supposed to be a pile of sludge, yet again I understand, but charizard lacks originality being an orange western based dragon with a flame on it's tail?

Anyway... I won't judge the pokemon based on the concept of creation but rather on the beauty of the design...

Top 3 ugliest pokemon are:
3-Slakoth
2-Slaking
1-Graveler

Those pokemon fail in the concept of creating a pokemon... Slakoth and slaking are just ugly! while graveler is a failed design because it lacks any creativity in it. I get it, it's a small boulder, with 4 small hands but nothing more, even it's color is dull and ugly... Color is what prevented other pokemon from being in my bottom 3 pokemon list. There are lots of pokemon like this one, but you just asked for 3!

On a side note... Beauty is in the eye of the beholder... Creativity is not!

1. Magikarp/Feebas: It's... a fish. Like, a completely normal fish.

There both the same pile of sludge just with different features.

I can't say that any pokemon designs are genuinely bad by nature, but there are a few that I dislike based on personal preference

Up until recent I did uphold the sentiment that no designs are bad, however I changed my mind after reminding myself of a few Pokemon:

No matter what, I can't get behind Cobalion's design. I feel that it's just so mismatched and lazy- I especially dislike the spiky ridge above the front legs and the patterns on the feet, not to mention the elastic body shape. The colours look nice but it just doesn't feel right as a design.

The way that Simisear becomes fat at the hips, has those weird white smoke-fur things on its shoulders and the elastic arms make it a poor design in my eyes. As for Simipour, the shoehorned-bib just doesn't look right to me- nor do the dreadlocks. Simisage was the only fully-evolved elemental monkey that didn't disappoint me.

In the same vein as Cobalion and the Simis, this design just feels really mismatched. The moss and the boring colour scheme just don't look right, not to mention that obnoxiously large, yellow ridge running down the centre of its body. I don't mind Regigigas as a concept, however I feel like it could have been improved if they had worked on it a bit more.

Actually it is. People have different opinions on what defines "creativity". Also, it's not like every Pokemon was meant to all be these extremely creative creations that simply astonish everyone over how awesome all the designs are, based solely on the concept of "creativity".

In the end, there is no worst Pokemon designs, you can dislike whichever design you please for whatever reason(Even if it's an unreasonable reason), however, in no way does that label any Pokemon as "worst" design.

No particular order on these

Krookadile- Just...it's an bipedal crocodile with beady eyes and hands that looks like they're going to grab you...that and it's just kind of ugly to me

The Simis (monkeys) They're just not creative and they don't work for me

Trubbish/grimer evos- They're a pile of crap....literally, I mean Grimer and Muk are just sludge while Trubbish and Garbordor are just garbage

I don't like Sigilyph's design, it doesn't really make much sense to me, it kinda looks like a bunch of feathers. I'm not a fan of the Sinnoh starters either, excpet maybe Turtwig. Not sure why, they just don't really do it for me.
Also, a lot of designs aren't really bad in my opinion, just really really uncreative.

Poliwrath is just Poliwhirl, but angry.

As mentioned before, Muk is a bigger Grimer with a different face.

I like the Vanillite line in terms of looks, and as individual Pokemon I don't find them uncreative, it's just that the evolutions are really just bigger/more of vanillite with a different face.

Voltorb is a sphere.

And Dugtrio and Magneton are just clumps of three of other Pokemon.

Don't get me wrong, I love a lot of these, like Dugtrio, but they could be done a little more creatively.

EDIT: Upon further inspection, Sigilyph's kinda neat...
