This is great now I know the best way to get a surfing Pichu on box R/S, get all of the stickers in Fr/Lg and I was planning on hatching for a shiny and the Gyarados in G/S/C was one of my favorite shinies!

Actually it's possible in Pokemon Box you get a Pichu with Surf. Skitty with Pay Day etc.

Wow, thanks. I always thought only baby poekmon like clefa and iglypuff were the fastest. I am hatchin for a shiny magicarp tomorrow(I hope I get lucky).

it's actually not 1/2 the steps, it's closer to 2/3 of what the total egg steps should be in emerald using a magma armor/flame body pokemon. and something to consider when hatching for baby pokemon is that they cannot be rebred until they evolve, and that many of them evolve through happiness, so it's kind of a pain to breed them for stats :-\

You can breed ALL genderless Pokemon with Ditto, as long as they aren't legendaries, babies, Unown, etc. Pokemon like Magnemite, Voltorb, Staryu, and Beldum can all be bred with Ditto.

When you breed ANYTHING with Ditto the Egg you get will always be the Pokemon that isn't Ditto. Your Egg will hatch into a Beldum.
