Corphish, because he made comedy his b!tch.

Swellow, for being the first bird pokémon to take some names and crack some skulls.

Sceptile, due to the fact the guy was a flat out badass.

Heracross, down to it's bewildering lust for shrub-coated toads.

Bayleef because it was cuter than a button. Although having said that, I have questioned the cuteitude of some buttons recently. But regardless, I also like Bayleef due to the fact that it was the first pokémon ever to realise Ash has a favourite. No rat was takin' her boi, y'hear?

Vengence-craving Noctowl, brain damaged Mukuru, bringer of death and famine Snorlax and sleepy weirdo Cyndaquil missed the mark by that much.

Ugh, Ash really does have a lot of awesome Pokemon that it's hard to list them all. Most of his reserves at Oaks are all fantastic, which is why its a shame we rarely see them in action.

4) Torkoal (crying Torkoal FTW. I love whoever came up with that)
5) Squirtle (he just rules, 'nuff said)

I'll need to see a lot more of the Shinou team to judge them, to be honest.
