Toughest Gym Leader

Which of the Kanto Gym leaders did you find toughest? For me it was Koga. His Muk kept using Minimize and Acid Armour so was hard to hit and even hits that connected weren't very effective.

Same here, really. But when I first got started, I just couldn't beat Brock. Mainly because I only used Pikachu (hey! It was way back in 1996). xD

none of them were particularily tough but if I had to choose it would be Misty. She was just hard for that point of the game.

I only had Blastoise, and since nothing it knew was super effective against Psychic, my hardest one was Sabrina.

Koga, for sure. His poison pokemon took forever to defeat...

I think sabrina is the toughest, especially if you go straight to saffron from celedon.

I had an easy time with Sabrina. My Mr. Mime just outwalled her and did her in with Magical Leaf. It's been a while since I played through the story, but I recall Blaine causing problems simply out of sheer levels.

All of them posed no real challenge to me.

None of them really. But if I have to choose, I'll go with Koga. Everyone else was even easier. I chose Squirtle.

Koga was the toughest back when I first started Pokemon but I find no problems now.

I found Misty the hardest. I chose Charmander as my starter, go figure. I had a Pikachu but it wasn't leveled high enough. I leveled them all up and I finally beat her.

Mine would also be Koga, those moves got so annoying!

None of them were really that hard for me from what I can remember.

I do remember having some trouble with Koga, because my Kadabra kept on getting OHKOed by Muk's sludge (Or was it sludge bomb?) due to its horrible defense...

For me, it was Misty. I was trying to train my Pikachu against her, but it kept getting KO'd so I gave in and ended up leveling up my Oddish by like, 2 levels. I wasn't planning on keeping the Oddish either, I only really used it for that battle.

bI guess if I had to chose I'd have to say...Blaine because his pokemon had a decent move sets. Not saying that he was easy, but if I hadn't trained up to his level no doubt it would have been difficult.

Koga because he used Sludge and Sludge Bomg which could poison you then he would use moves like Minimize. So annoying!

Koga has always been hardest for me, even with Psychicing Butterfree.

I think the toughest Kanto Gym Leader is Koga.
