Tournament of Champions - Brainstorming Thread

So... Rhys did something and hasn't been posting for a while. The characters seem to be drifting away in some way, too. Not to mention, well... several of the players seem to have trouble posting 'regularly'. I myself am mostly waiting for someone to actually go back to the Center and interact with her, in particular either Rhys, Rhyme, Son of Shadows or Storymaster.

I'm not writing this to try and take over; all I want is... well, we're somewhat close to a ship without a sail, drifting on the ocean at wont. I think there should be some sort of direction, something to at least try and move the story along. Since we don't know what Rhys was going to set-up, this is really complex.

So... why don't we use this thread for brainstorming? At least, figure out if a bigger plot of some sort is feasible... and also a way for my character to not stay alone in a room for hours.

Iv been waiting to participate for a while now (not sure why Hunter and Proby had to be seperated.) but if you guys dont care I'll have Hunter meet up at the center with your character.

ps. and if Rhy really ditched then somone should definately take over.

Well, use an Abra or something, at least... it's probably easier than regular travel.

In a way, Rhys wasn't really pushing for a plot, as due to the posts everyone did, it's pretty obvious that this was more of a 'make stuff happen as you want' kind of thing. It's not bad per se, but on the other hand, it does leave a hole. (Like why everyone in town is a gangmember rear end in a top hat.)

Besides... someone does have to be the opponents of said Tournament, if we get there. It'd be better if it was someone who wasn't part of the 'main group' (Isaac, Joshua, Rose, Proby, Hunter, and Nina) at the time.

Of course, that's just my commenting.

...does everyone really want me to be the new 'main GM' or something? At the very least, I'd like to know if that's something people actually want.

Elseways... storymasterb did just add a plot direction I find interesting. Maybe this could be the B-plot to the Tournament's A-plot. Anyone agrees? (storymasterb in particular)

With the side-plot, I believe you're referring to Dusknoir. I have no problems with it. Anyway, I was thinking about that and I have a couple of things planned for Rose due to Dusknoir. I think in the end, Rose will find out about this Pokemon who's been watching over her for her whole life. I'm not sure what will happen then, but I'm thinking that Rose will have a real conflict within her, does she want love or glory?

It'll probably end with her catching Dusknoir so that it can stay with her, but she can keep an eye on it (would you trust something that's been manipulating you your entire life and took away your love?)

Just thought I'd throw this out there... I'm finding Dusknoir so unbelievably evil, yet cool, I'll be training one when I get Platinum. That won't be for a while though, seeing as I have no idea when it'll be released in the UK... Dammit. Nice job on creating such a badass Pokemon, storymaster.

Like all men, I get my best ideas in the bathroom. And I just came up with this - what about a sort of Anti-Dusknoir? Not necessarily something that's been overseeing a character, but one whose spirit is the opposite. I was thinking Milotic - As the Tenderness Pokemon, I think it fits.
