I couldnt reall thionk of a suitable title for this thread, but I am sure that that will do.
I was just browsing Zelda Legends and I found this article.
http://www.zeldalegends.net/index.php?p=130&s=702
According to it, the new Zelda game, definatly for the gamecube, will be able to use the revolutions controller when placed in the console. But it does also say that the release date will be around the release of the Revolution, which is at the end of the year I think, but I am not sure

What do you think?

The release of the Revolution is between March the 31st and December the 31st, and Twilight Princess comesout Q1 2006, so this is all confusing, Yay for Revolution compatibilities though.

Looks groovy to me. And the controller suits the game PERFECTLY. You've got the sword, obviosly. Fishing, perfect. Boomerang, stylish. And the bow and arrows... well think about it. (this si inspired by NGC) but what if you press a button on the d-pad to change to the bow, hold Z1/2 to lock onto the enemy, hold B and pull the controller back (like the string) and let go of the B button to fire. That way the further you pull the controller back, the farther the arrow goes! It's perfect, it's a shame it's such a long way off.

Think Different
This is the perfect way to bridge the gap between the consoles and will allow everyone to see how the controller can easily be used for normal games. It also complements the game perfectly, however now we have to wait even longer for TP.

I know that this is not a rumor because if it was they would not publish it in that magazine. As the site said, it is a relioable source, and if it is nintendo power it is also true. That is the official nintendo magazine of america after all. And make sure you have scrolled down and read all of the scans. I think that this is great, and as PhQnix said, it is a great way to bridge the gap between consoles.

Someone posted that here a few months back. I said it was semi-cool then, and it's semi-cool now. :/

Wrong. I could've sworn in Nintendo Power it siad the game was going to be released by April 1st, 2006 (specific date)

Anyway, I cant wait for the game to come out, it looks totally awesome!

I already knew this from 1up, but the Revolution controller will suite TP perfectly for stuff like sword fights and fishing. I'm getting both of them and my anticipation for both has greatly increased.

You probably read it wrong, seeing as how the date has been confirmed an innumerable amount of times to be released after the end of Q1 of 2006 at the earliest, which is on April 1st. =/

I have not heard of this news before, but this got me thinking. Maybe nintendo are going to do this with a lot of games which are soon to be released on the GC. I mean, it says in the article that the hardwars are similar so it could be possible, and they would still offer something new when they were released.

my hope

it sounds awesome,i wonder what the function will be,maybe a little game like when you connect gameboy advance to gamecube.

I longed until the day where nintendo would get more popular than sony or microsoft, and with the revo price believed to hit a small $200 this is nintendos last hope In My Opinion.
but it doesnt matter,as long as I like it thats all I care!I dont care If im the only person in the world that likes nintendo,I will still buy the merchandise!

I have just heard from here
http://www.hyrule.net/?get=newsview&date=635&lan=en
that this may be false. And with ghost master posting the ionformation that TP will be releasesd in April, it makes this articela sound even more convincing. It is kind of sad though.

Well its not bad the magazine may have questionable reliability but, Nintendo power confirmed it as well and it is the magazine that represents NoA. Also Iwata hinted at it a while ago and that is what really started up the speculation.

Well I hopt that it does have these capabilities but I will not complain if it does not. It just makes more room for a longer game doesnt it.

It would be a cool feature though.
