Trading Question...

Can I trade/battle etc between FireRed and Emerald with out have beaten the Elite 4 in either one? And i can't find my wireless so I need to use the cord. I want to take my amazing FireRed pokemon and put them on to Emerald.

No, you have to have the National Dex in Emerald (by beating the Elite 4), and have the Network Machine running in FrLg (by finishing the Sevii Islands quest). You can use the Link Cable to trade.
