Trading (US-EUSP)

Topic. Can I trade between American english carts and European spanish carts? I don't think so, but just to double check it I'll ask it here.
There's a very cheap FR cart in ebay.es I could buy, but I rather be sure if it will be able to connect with the rest of my carts. If not, I'll buy it second hand (to get all the version exclusive pokés and then return it, as I did with Ruby, mwahahahaha).

Well, I ask mainly because I know that you cannot trade between JAP carts and any other region except JAP itself.
But, AFAIK, EUR and USA carts are the same, except that the translation varies. They don't have "extra" features (like e-Reader compatibility) as the JAP ones have, and so only the localization is different.

Yes, in third gen. games you can trade between languages just like trading with another cart from your region. I have a Japanese Emerald that I trade and battle with my English carts all the time with.

Yeah, you could, but it's not possible on DS if you use a GBA to DS that is from a different region.

Yea it all depends on what System you got i guess
