[like on seven island in ruin vally where theres a trainer with 2 bellosoms which give out 3 to special defence]
cause its too hard and long beating zupats at lv. 10

Speed EV's

I think its easier to fight wild zubats or digglets. To get a lot of EVs from a trainer you have to ask him/her for a rematch using VS seeker and it takes time to charge.

Remember to boost your Speed with Carbos first before EV training. If your Pokémon needs more than 100 Speed EVs, get the rest by battling Pokémon. But at least you saved yourself a lot of time first.

BTW, what Pokemon are you getting Speed for anyways? It's possible that Pokemon doesn't need much Speed at all.

Wild pokemon really are easier to get EVs from, the pokemon on route 1, Diglett's Cave, and Altering Cave are good places to train in.

Though if you really want to fight trainers for speed EVs, try fighting lots of bird keepers that have the Spearow family or the Pidgey family, (I don't know what evs doduo gives) like the ones you find just outside Cycling Road, or on the routes between Fuchia City and Lavender Town. Also, I know that Youngster Dustin in Resort Gorgeous has a Raticate and Pidgeot, they give speed EVs too.

Like aragornbird said, use carbos to boost your EVs by a maximum of 100 points first, to save time. Then you can attatch the Macho Brace to the pokemon, (it's found in the Viridian gym, use the item finder when you stand in the EXACT place Giovanni was) then they'll gain double EV points.

ok thanks
so can you only get 252 in speed ? cause i heard you have to split 3 from 510 or sumthing like 252/252/6
ok so would i put 252 in ATK and 252 in speed so where do i put the 6?
and does 252 equal 64 gained in that stat point?

Well you can actually get 255 EVs at the most in a stat, but it's only qorht getting 252, since the other three won't make any difference, since it takes four EVs to make a stat point.

I would probably put the other 6 EVs into hp, because you never know, having one extra hit point can save your *** sometime.

And 252 EVs would equal 63 points, because if it equaled 64, you would need 256 EVs.
