Training for Tate and Liza...

For a day or 2, I've been training to beat Tate and Liza. I decide to battle them, and I do pretty well, but lose. I want to beat them, so do you know a place where I can train for them? I'm training a Sealeo (Lv 38), a Blaziken (Lv 40) and an Electrode (Lv 34). I know, pretty weak. But where can I train these 3? And I know Sealeo's Speed sucks but Electrode's and, to an extent, Blaziken's speeds are great, but how can I make it attack at least third, before Tate and Liza's Claydol, which faints Blaziken and sometimes Sealeo in 2 or 3 turns. By the way, this is to get the seventh badge, so don't say anything in Sootopolis, underwater, or past Evergrande, or even past Pacfidilog.

Im not sure but if you can be bothered you could go to the place just west of pacifidlog town ( you should have surf already if your at mosdeep ) were there are currents, There are quite a few strong trainers around that area that could help in your training, actually surfing all over the place you might be able to find trainers to battle. If you dont want to battle trainers you could always fish at mosdeep with a super rod you will get quite high level sharpedo and wailmer there. Sorry if this isnt much help but it's the best i could think of. ;257;

I tried surfing south of Mossdeep, and nearly got KO'ed by someone. I'll try the fishing. Thanks for the suggestions, they'll help. I'll keep this open for other people to help me too.

Do you have any pokemon with strong ghost moves like shadow ball or dark moves like bite, faint attack or crunch? Sealeo's water or ice moves should help here also.

kyle_andrew: Thanks for the tip, I now have a Lv 44 walrein, and I decided to train up my Vibrava (currently Lv 41), my Blaziken (lv 41) and my Electrode (Lv 35).

Expert Evan: I know that dark and water moves help but Sealeo was too slow, and I'm not sure if walrein is slower than Claydol, since I need Claydol knocked out first so Walrein and Blaziken don't get knocked out. I'll re-challenge them when Vibrava evolves and Blaziken and Electrode gets stronger.

Another question: My team has only 4 pokemon keeping it up. My Kecleon and Absol/Natu fail everything, and I want 2 new pokemon to replace them. I'll replace Absol/Natu with either Banette or Dusclops. Which one is better? And I need a psychic type to replace Kecleon. Suggestions? I have a Lv 24 Kirlia in the PC.

Train Kirlia. Gardevoir should be able to learn ShadowBall.
Replace Absol/Natu with Sharpedo. It learns Crunch if you catch it.

No to Sharpedo. Walrein's a Water type, Vibrava has Crunch. There's no point. But yes to Gardevior. I'll check it's moves.

hi again, gardevoir is a good choice, as for either banette or dusclops both are good and are compatable with lots of tm's, but i dont know dusclops seems to stand out more to me than banette but it's really up to you what you want on your team. good luck ;282;

I beat them! I used Walrein and Blaziken, Blaziken knocked Xatu out, then Surf half-damaged Lunatone and Claydol. Basically, Walrein did everything! Thanks, this can be closed now.

Yay congrats.. good luck with the the last gym and E4

Go Walrein.
