Transfer Problems w/ Diamond/Pearl

Hi, I am planning on getting pkmn diamond when it comes out. However, I have a cousin who is going to get both. The problem is is that he only has one DS, so trading in between the two versions is a problem for him.

Does anyone know if pkmn can be transfered in between diamond/pearl and Battle Revolution?

Also, could the wi-fi trading network be used to trade with yourself?

With wifi you don't really need to buy bother versions. Just trade with someone who has what you need.

Well, there's the trick. I mean, who's gonna trade their Dialga/Piru...whatever-the-other-one-is for anything other than Dialga/Piru-whatever?

As for me I've figured it out: oh, wait, we don't like cheating lol!!!

You cant transfer between DP and PBR to trade like that(wish you could) Well you obviously have a DS so why dont you help your cousin out and lend it to him if you dont live far away. (by far I mean in onother country, or across the country)
