Why cant i change my trendy phrase in emerald? last time i changed to cool latios and now when i try to change it the guy says i think "cool latios" is better... and the berry master's wife isnt giving me good berries like durin and stuff even if i use the correct words!!

Well, with the trendy phrase, it has to be a good combination of words, superior to the previous phrase. I don't know how it works, but it does. Try "Less Name".
As for Mrs. Berry Master, the phrase only works once, then never again. Plus you can only use "Cool Latios" and "Overwhelming Latias" depending on which one you've seen in the game.

So Diljabar, there is one superior phrase that is the best of all, and can never be changed?

Sometimes they say they prefer the current phrase. Just try a different phrase to the one they didn't accept and it should work. It's just random.
