There was a time when there was a great fear of the shadows in the darkness. People would constantly glance over their shoulders and tense at the slightest unusual sound. Kidnappings back then were common of both human and Pokemon alike, bodies often found with not a mark on them and no clue to who had been responsible. Rumours of out of control beasts destroying anything in their wake until shot…
These day walkers, they feared the unknown. Being such pathetic individuals they huddled together terrified with their little pets from the unknown people or potential demons that were causing strife in their little world.
They did not dare look beyond the surface and find the real truth what was happening, just ignoring and hoping that one day it will all stop and go away. The night, the shadows, the true war were not their domain to tread. Their unnatural paranoia being their only comfort.
But now the strangers also come forth into the sunlight clothed in black of their homeland. They breathe the air; they look around with clouded eyes.
They also did not burn instead they stood proud.
The plan is now go; to force those who wander around in their pretty little lives to face cold hard reality. Already many areas of society have been turned to the cause from the highest politician to the lowest homeless man. They are invading like a parasite now bravely forcing people back to their lairs for experimentation or recruitment depending on their usefulness to the cause.
It doesn’t matter who tries to stop them or how, by the time the police come all traces of predator and victim are gone with a smirk left on the wind. Those who disappear are presumed dead and will not to be seen again still walking.
Team Rocket is back and this time they will stop at nothing but an absolute victory. Still seeking to take over the world, they will maim, kill and experiment on anything that gets in their way. Everything is a resource… Including their own, everything is expendable if it helps progress the mission.
And you’re gonna help them do it.

This world is heavily based on my upcoming Fanfiction Overdose so there will be times of cross and characters from that will likely appear here and vice versa, with permission. This also means there will be no happy fluff. Things WILL die more than likely.
Many have been recruiting into the lowly grunt ranks, by choice or force. That said, there are also two types of Grunt within Team Rocket, the bog standard and those on the special program.
Those who are on the special are subject to experimentation to create anthromorphs with a single Pokemon breed. Should you choose this option on your sign up and be accepted, you will be pmed further details.
You will be given various missions as you work your way up the ranks (Grunt, Captain, Admin, Elite). Rocket uniform is standard though there are allowances to wear casual if going into the upper world as long as the rule of keeping your mouth shut about where you work is adhered.
Any who slip up are treated as traitors, so I don’t advise it.

Name: Sandra
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Description: Slender and not the tallest at 5ft 3 short brown hair and blues eyes. Also has some eye scarring over her left eye, which doesn’t appear to be doing any harm. On the left upper arm she has a weird dragon’s eye tattoo which she takes great pride in. She also always wears a weird golden bracer like thing on her right wrist, which as it turns out, is a nifty computer.
Clothes wise, it’s normally a pair of brown arm guards, white tank top, red sash around the waist and blue jeans. Nothing flashy, long as she’s warm she’s happy and has been known to relocate if it’s too cold in one area.
Occasionally has been seen wearing glasses and two necklaces, a gold chain and a silver dragon pendant.
Personality: A quiet one who hates cold, children and pointless chitchat from people she doesn’t know. She’s often busy, either preparing for another mission, reading or taking her Pokemon out to train. She’s also got a rather irritating habit of falling asleep during normal work hours frustrating the heck out of Rachael, it’s not intentional, her hours are just extremely varied.
That said she does like to mock her for “only” being an admin.
History: Due to plot spoilers for Overdose, lets just say she really enjoys her line of work.
Pokemon (Up to 6):
Rai – Raichu - Female
Rai is a young Raichu often seen sleeping in a shoebox in her owner’s quarters. She is pretty generic Chu except one of the tail “blades” is longer and she has a slightly more lithe appearance. She’s generally quiet and likes to watch others over exploring, often with a snatched cookie in her paws.
Blaze – Arcanine - Male
Blaze acts as her personal guard and is often the one Sandra has with her. His appearance is standard Arcanine except for more tiger like striping including on his face and tipped ears plus blue eyes. He is well versed in hand commands and is very loyal to his owner, refusing to listen to others without being told to first. Prone to the odd silly moment also, he gets on extremely well with Shade.
Shade – Houndoom – Female
Lesser seen of the two canines due to her heavily nocturnal nature and preference for being in shadows. Her fur is slightly tipped with silver and eyes are green. She’s a rather aggressive lady and very protective of her fellow mon (She lets Rai sit on her back by some miracle). She knows hand commands and gets on extremely well with Blaze.
Karaji – Steelix – Male
The rather elusive Steelix, often first appearing out of the damn ground, a nack he’s disturbingly good at upon release. Due to his size, he’s often kept in unless required. He doesn’t mind water, long as the area isn’t too deep due to his weight but he does need cleaning after all.

Mystery – Pokeball is locked
Status: Mercenary for the Rockets, is currently partnered with Rach’… when she actually bothers to.
Other: There is something slightly odd about her, there has been strange comments ever since she started working though this may be the fact she doesn’t HAVE to wear uniform and rarely does.

Name: Racheal Toriess
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Description: A red haired lady standing at 5ft 3 as well, she keeps her hair in a loose braid and usually has a clipboard in hand of work she’s doing. She takes no crap from anybody and looks it to.
Because of her higher status, her uniform looks a like like Coming down to just above shoe level and is split into a separate skirt section.
Personality: Rach’ is fiery, she hates slackers and those who fail and is likely to clobber them as much as verbally abuse before slipping back into a more sane façade. She’s a strong leader and doesn’t appreciate any snarky comments of that she doesn’t deserve the position because she’s a woman…
She misses going out on missions these days, having to do a lot of the behind the scene work and dealing with all those who report to her. That said, of late she seems to be an alarm clock for her partner being asleep on the job.
History: Rach started as a Grunt when she was much younger and has worked herself up to the current rank she holds. She is here by choice and knows a lot about what’s really going on.
Pokemon (Up to 6): Harpy – Butterfree – Female
Harpy doesn’t actually belong to Rach; she’s being borrowed and is her partner’s Pokemon in reality. This little Butterfly has a good kick to her though and has a speciality in psychic type attacks and locking down her opponent.
She’s a sweet little thing though even if she tends to affectionately gnaw on people she likes. There’s a fiery little spirit in that fragile body and heaven help us the day she figures out how to hold things to use as battering rams if annoyed.

Other: Rach’ is her nickname she largely goes by but only to those at the same level as her or superiors. She expects her full name by those below rank. She does have her own Pokemon but since she’s largely at home base they are rarely seen if ever.

Name: Mikey
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Description: Mikey is one of the early experiments; she is now an Umbreon anthromorph. Generally speaking, bar her white hair she just looks like an anthro Umbreon thus has digigrade legs. She sports a long white lab coat, red top most days and blue shorts. When concentrating, the golden rings flash a brighter colour.
She also wears glasses, aww.
Personality: She works diligently to ensure the success of her work in producing hybrids like herself. She’s a quiet well-motivated sort who will help out though largely sticks to her own projects. Given the fact she was one of the first for the hybridisation project she has vast knowledge on the processes and is a high ranked member of the scientist team.
She does occasionally give orders to grunts as well if it’s something she needs. She does not like seeing the mistreatment of humans or Pokemon however which explains why things are often sedated before reaching her…
History: Mikey has been working at this particular facility for years, having her “upgrade” a couple of years ago now. She’s fully aware something’s not quite right with the Rockets, but it’s been pained to avoid her finding out much beyond the special project she’s currently involved with as they don’t want to risk losing such a valuable resource.
That said, she finds what she does fascinating is determined to keep going till she finds her field’s dead end. She does get distracted by snacks sometimes though, so please don’t bring food into the labs.

Other: Mikey lacks any special abilities of her form though has heightened senses.
