Veronica is a slightly tanned woman who stands at six feet tall. The physique of Veronica is healthy due to always eating healthy meals throughout most of her life. Her hair is a shiny, azure color that has made some people be reminded of the winter season. Veronica likes to keep it long due to not being a fan of other hairstyles. Like her hair, Veronica’s eye color is also a shade of blue as well. On each ear, she wears a pair of golden earrings whom she obtained in her homeland, Iccirus City, Unova. Veronica wears a dark green short tank top that ties together with a knot due to the hot weather that Alola is known for. She wears a pair of sleek jeans that allow her to feel comfortable whenever she walks around. For footwear, Veronica typically wears azure colored sandals on her feet, footwear that is nice to wear in the Alola region as well. She owns a blue and white polka-dot swimsuit that she wears whenever she is tanning or swimming in swimming pools or the ocean. Finally, Veronica carries a backpack which consists of a water bottle, four bags of nut-and-fruit mix, a small box of band-aids, and a hair brush so that she can brush her hair despite being in an apocalyptic wasteland.
Back when Veronica lived in Iccirus City, she could not wear such clothing due to the colder climate. While she still wore jeans, she also usually wore a heavy, azure-colored winter coat to keep herself warm. For head wear, Veronica wore a black toboggan hat outdoors. Veronica wore light brown winter boots to help her traverse the snowy days and wore purple colored mittens to keep her hands warm.
Personality: Veronica is a mixed bag of both optimism and reserved. In more quiet settings, Veronica is more open and cheerful to others around her as she does not feel overwhelmed by a lot of noise from areas such as cities. The winter season, especially, is when she’s the most active due to winter always being known for a more peaceful time. Veronica tries her best to cheer others on and help them continue towards what they want to overcome, even if she takes it a bit too far. Being focused on a specific matter is a struggle sometimes due to Veronica always being excited over even small things.
With that said, when it comes to more populated areas, Veronica shelters herself out from the rest of the crowd due to being surrounded by a huge number of people compared to the small areas she normally likes. It is also hard for her to feel optimistic because she is not good at doing it in front of large groups of people rather than one or two individuals. This was especially hard for Veronica to deal with because she moved to Nimbasa City at one point in her life, a place where activity is bustling every day.
When it comes to love, Veronica adores her older brother to the point where other men fall short of the mark. Veronica will try to bring her brother into some conversations here and there because how much she adores him. Even those with the greatest of romantic vocabulary fail to grasp Veronica's heart due to her fondness of her brother. It is true however that she does wish to not be lonely forever but her care for her brother has been implanted in her mind a lot, thus making this habit difficult to break.
History: Veronica was born as the youngest in her family in Icirrus City, Unova. Her house was a sturdy and big house that was built near the path to the Dragonspiral Tower. In her childhood, Veronica would often follow her older brother Mark wherever he went and wanted to be an excellent and caring Pokémon trainer like him one day. Mark always had an Electivire at his side, from which he first obtained as an Elekid in Ula’Ula Island, Alola. Usually the places they visited were the locations nearby their home city such as Twist Mountain and the Moor of Icirrus. Both were peaceful areas where Veronica and his brother could look at the Pokemon with little noise disturbing Veronica. Usually a Pokemon or two would attack them both during their visits at times but Mark would always defend Veronica with his life whenever that happened. Like Mark, his Electivire was passionate towards wanting to defend his younger sister.
On Veronica’s 10th birthday, Mark presented Veronica with a Dive Ball, telling her that a Pokemon was inside in which he caught for her. Ecstatic about the present, Veronica immediately went outside and threw the Dive Ball in which a Cryogonal came out of it. Mark told the Cryogonal that it was to be Veronica’s partner for now on. Cryogonal immediately took a liking towards Veronica, hugging her with its ice chains. Veronica felt the coldness of the hug but her love towards the Pokemon melted that away quickly. This is when the seeds for Veronica’s huge fondness towards Mark began to really grow. Every day at her elementary school from here on out would not go without a day of Veronica mentioning her brother’s feats towards her friends. That is, until graduation came when Veronica was going to enter sixth grade in a few months after she was done with fifth grade (where she was 11 years old).
As Veronica was getting excited about middle school, she received some alarming news from her parents that she and her family were moving to Nimbasa City in the following week due to her father getting a new job at the city. Veronica immediately became saddened by this information as she was going to have to leave all of her friends behind. This mood then changed when she realized that her brother would still be with her. So even though she was going to have to deal with leaving her old friends behind, Veronica was prepared to experience what Nimbasa City was like. The entire family packed their belongings and went to the airport to fly over to their new home when the time came.
All of Veronica’s expectations were shattered the moment they arrived in Nimbasa City. Unlike the quiet city of Icirrus, Nimbasa had a huge population of people everywhere along with a lot of noise from people, cars, and more. This scared Veronica a lot as she was not used to louder areas like this. Mark then came to comfort her and promised that she would be OK so long as she had her Cryogonal with her. Despite this, the sun was hotter and brighter compared to Icirrus City where the temperatures were more to Cryogonal’s liking. Because of this, Cryogonal preferred to only come out at night when the temperatures were slightly cooler. Veronica respected Cryogonal’s wishes and only let it out when the moon shined in the sky. Even during the nighttime, the city was still bustling with activity with many people out celebrating with a few drinks, performing on the streets, or something else in that nature. One month later, middle school began for Veronica as she entered sixth grade and hoped the environment was at least on the level of her elementary school in Icirrus City.
Middle school turned out to be a disaster for Veronica. While she was not a victim of bullying, many boys would not stop falling in love for her. Almost every day had a boy commenting on either her hair color or what she wore. These comments overwhelmed Veronica and thus made it hard for her to communicate with others as well as how noisy the school was too. Veronica initially sat by herself only to get away from the large crowds of students. Every time a boy tried to ask and sit with her, she told them that she preferred to be by herself and that her brother was better than any boy she met so far. One day, a boy named Trey came and sincerely asked to sit with Veronica, accepting the fact that her brother was probably better at anything that he could do. Surprised by what he said, Veronica allowed Trey to sit with her. Both Veronica and Trey were in the same math class at the time. Veronica asked Trey if they could chat somewhere quiet after school and thus Trey agreed to do so. Usually the place they would talk to each other was at Veronica’s house where noise was not as likely to take over their speaking. Like in her elementary school, Veronica talked nonstop about her brother among other things.
Both Veronica and Trey continued to be friends all the way up to the end of eighth grade. While they had some troubles with their relationship (mainly Trey being annoyed by how much praise Veronica give to her brother), they continued to be best friends. After graduation, Trey announced to Veronica that he was moving to Snowpoint City, Sinnoh where he would continue his education from there. Before he left Veronica’s presence forever, he confessed that he had a crush on her this whole time they were friends while knowing that her brother would probably be the person Veronica adores more. Happy by Trey’s words, she hoped that he would have a successful future and hoped that someone would take her place as Trey’s best friend.
High school (as well as Veronica starting 9th grade) came and once again, Veronica was overwhelmed by the populated building that she was in. Without Trey, Veronica had no friends and struggled even more to showcase her optimism to the whole school due to both not being good at noisy environments and high school generally being more populous than middle school. As usual, many men fell in love with Veronica only to be rejected. While she still heavily adored her brother more, Veronica started to have second guesses whether loving her own brother more than any other man was OK or not. The fact that she rejected men too also came to her mind as well since they could have been potential friends and perhaps could have helped overcome her reserved state in high school. Because of these questions that circled in her head, Veronica took action and sought out guidance from her counselor in her school in hopes that she can get away from this pain.
After seeking her counselor, Veronica felt relieved that loving your family was alright and that it was normal to have a role model to look up to, even it is your own older brother. This also helped Veronica started to get out of her shell more and start chatting with other students in her class in 10th grade, a turning point in high school where she would begin battling her fear of loud environments and would start making friends. First off, Veronica started to reject men in a nicer attitude and allowed them to talk to her anytime if they would do so in class (and if they were in one of her classes too). Next, Veronica joined an Ice Type Pokémon Club where people would discuss their love for Ice type Pokemon with Veronica talking about her Cryogonal. While people could bring out their Pokemon during the club meetings, Veronica explained that her Cryogonal preferred more cooler temperatures and liked only coming out at night. Despite this, the other club members accepted Veronica regardless since she at least showed a fair amount of love for Ice type Pokemon. While Veronica would have trouble starting off conversations each day, she tried her best to pull through despite some days where she preferred peace and quiet.
High school graduation came and marked the end of an era full of cacophony and reservation. After Veronica received her diploma, her family told her that they would be moving again to a region where life was more calm and peaceful: the Alola region. Ecstatic about the surprising news, Veronica cheered a lot and put on a big smile, something not seen by her family for a long time. Veronica’s father told her that they would be leaving two days from now and thus, the preparations were being made to move into what was essentially paradise. Veronica said goodbye to her friends from the Ice Type Pokemon Club one last time and the whole family made their way home to move out of Unova.
It was a long plane ride but Veronica and her family arrived at Malie City on Ula’Ula Island, Alola. Amazed by both the beauty and the calmness of Malie City, Veronica began to start talking to people immediately again. Her Cryogonal was still not fond of the hot temperatures of Alola and still only wanted to come out at night. Veronica’s family moved into their new house in Malie City and Veronica continued to talk to the new neighbors she was going to stay with, bringing in her brother in her conversations as usual.
On their first night, Veronica stepped out of the house to gaze at the beautiful ocean with her Cryogonal. They both looked up at the beautiful night sky and noticed something was coming down. Both backed away and watched the mysterious object crash. Upon expecting the crash, the mysterious object began to move and started shedding what looked like rock. Under the rock came a blue and round object floating in front of them. Veronica immediately knew that it was a Minior and learned from one of her neighbors that they sometimes crash down in this area. The Minior took a liking to Veronica’s Cryogonal to where it tackled it down in happiness. Veronica asked if Minior wanted to stay with her to which it quickly agreed. Veronica then threw a Moon Ball that she received as a welcome gift and thus Minior was caught. It took a bit of getting used to but Veronica’s family grew to like to Minior despite its hyper personality.
One year later when she was nineteen years old, Veronica and Mark went on a trip to Akala Island, Unova to explore their environments. On their excursion in Lush Jungle, Veronica stopped to brush her hair only to have her hair brush stolen by a Tsareena. Wanting it back, Veronica sent out Cryogonal despite not wanting to be in the heat. Despite the weather conditions, Cryogonal followed Veronica’s orders and eventually the Tsareena was defeated. Impressed by Veronica’s skill, Mark recommended that she catch the Tsareena. After saying OK to his suggestion happily, the Tsareena was caught with a Friend Ball and, because of how the item worked, the Tsareena quickly became attached to Veronica although it took her hair brush again. Afterwards, both made their way back home.
A year after that, things began to turn for the worst. Many weird things were going on in Alola and as Veronica and her family went on a trip to Mt. Hokulani, a huge tsunami came towards them as they ventured to the top of the mountain. A few large boulders came tumbling down, separating Veronica from her family. She tried to get back with her family but they highly recommended Veronica to continue to get to high ground. Mark especially insisted to continue onwards and hoped that they may meet each other later. Saddened by this, Veronica continued to the top of the mountain, praying that she would see her family again. All of her Pokemon were out of their PokeBalls and Veronica strangely could not recall them back in, rendering them useless. Veronica hoped that this nightmare would quickly end and that she would not die.

Species: Cryogonal
Gender: N/A
Appearance/Accessories: Unlike most Cryogonal, this one is slightly smaller than a normal-sized one, with a height of 3'04". It however does weigh more with its weight at 366.3 pounds. Other than that, it retains the normal traits of any other Cryogonal such as its color for example
Personality: Veronica's Cryogonal is a loving Pokemon who likes to show its affection by wrapping its ice chains around those who it meets. It, however, despises hot temperatures and tries to find a cooler area to be in or until nightfall hits. Cryogonal is also open to playing with other Pokemon and even allows other Pokemon to climb on it despite its body being very cold.
History: Cryogonal was a birthday gift from Mark, Veronica's brother. It's original home was north of Iccirus City and mostly resided there until Mark showed up. After a battle between Cryogonal and Electivire, Mark caught the Cryogonal and gave it to Veronica in which they grew to be best friends upon first sight.
Species: Minior (Blue Core)
Gender: N/A
Appearance/Accessories: Many Minior come in different colors and this one is a Blue Core Minior. The only difference it has to other Minior is its color and nothing else. Even its rocky shell is the same as other Minior too.
Personality: Like Cryogonal, Minior is a caring Pokemon and loves its trainer a lot. However, it does have an envious personality and gets sad whenever it does not get as much love as Cryogonal or Tsareena. Because of this, it will proceed to tackle the Pokemon it envies, hoping to get the attention of its trainer. Instead of sympathy, it usually gets scolded for hitting the Pokemon it tackled.
History: Minior was encountered on the first night Veronica and her family moved to the Alola region. It crashed down to the ground from the sky in front of Veronica and her Cryogonal. It immediately took a liking to Veronica and wanted to join to which Veronica agreed.
Species: Tsareena
Gender: Female
Appearance/Accessories: Tsareena is like all others of its kind with no distinguishing features. Her height and weight are pretty much the same like all other Tsareena. The colors as well as its crown are also the same as other Tsareena too. With that said, while it is not an accessory she owns, Tsareena usually takes Veronica's hair brush and keeps it to brush her "hair" until she is content.
Personality: Tsareena is a gentle Pokemon who's approachable so long as you do not do anything to anger her. When mad, Tsareena will furiously kick whoever got her angry in the first place. She's obsessed with how she looks and makes sure her "hair" is always straight. Tsareena also has a vigorous fighting spirit, wanting to keep going passionately until it can no longer fight.
History: Tsareena was first met in the Lush Jungle of Akala Island, Unova on a trip Veronica and her brother went to. She stole Veronica's hairbrush and tried to get away with it. After being pursued and fought, Veronica caught the Tsareena and became a member of her party.
