Trying to make a good team

I'm trying to make a balance team with not many weaknesses but I'm having sort of a hard time picking pokemon. This is who I have so far.

-Charizard
flamethrower
focus blast
solar beam
dragon pulse

-Feraligatr
waterfall
ice punch
earthquake
dragon dance

-Rhyperior
stealth rock
rock polish
stone edge
earthquake

-Rotom H
thundrbolt
shadow ball
overheat
light screen

-Scizzor
sword dance
bullet punch
brick break
x sissor

-Quagsire
yawn
curse
ice punch
earthquake

I feel getting rid of quagsire would be best since I already have 2 pokemon that will die from grass easily but again no clue who to put in his place or maybe keeping quagsire is better. Help please.

A description of how you want to use these Pokemon will help also. Also, what game is this on? Natures will be helpful also

two turn moves are bad. Solarbeam is only good in sun which you should not be running with this team.

-Feraligatr
waterfall
ice punch
earthquake
dragon dance

good.

-Rhyperior
Fire Punch
rock polish
stone edge
earthquake

SR is useless in-game except to break the occasional Focus Sash. Fire Punch is for coverage.

-Rotom H
thundrbolt
shadow ball
overheat
light screen/Reflect/ Will-o-Wisp

Reflect and WoW are options to hinder physical attackers.

-Scizzor
sword dance
bullet punch
brick break
x sissor/Bug Bite

Bug Bite if you have HG/SS, otherwise X-Scissor is fine.

-Quagsire
yawn
curse
ice punch
earthquake

You don't need Quagsire; Feraligatr does basically the same thing. I suggest you replace him with Sceptile or another Grass type who resists your excessive weaknesses (Water, Grass, Electric: 2 pokemon are weak to each of those) and fills any gaps in your synergy.

Sceptile
Leaf Storm
Energy Ball
Dragon Pulse / HP Ice
Focus Blast

Leaf Storm for powerful STAB, Energy Ball for stable STAB, Dragon Pulse/HP Ice and Focus Blast for coverage. Simple.

Overall, nice team. If you want help with EVs, natures and items as well just give me a shout.

This stuff only applies to CRMT. It helps here, but it isn't mandatory. All we ask for here is movesets.

-Charizard
flamethrower
focus blast/Hidderpower(fighting)
Dragon Dance
dragon pulse

Having SolarBeam is a stupid idea if ur going to use charizard as a sp sweeper...so replace it with dragon dance...also focus blast is a bit risky cause accuracy is only 70...so maybe go with a nice hiddenpower(fighting)

-Feraligatr
Aqua Jet/Waterfall
ice punch
earthquake
dragon dance

Defiantly use Aqua Jet over waterfall if this is ur HS/SS team other wise stick with it...overall its good

-Rhyperior
Curse
IcePunch/FirePunch/ThunderPunch
stone edge
earthquake

Go with a elemental punch seeing as rhyperior is already too slow so go for it for some better coverage..also maybe put curse here instead of stealth rock..

-Rotom H
thunderbolt
shadow ball
Hydropump/Air Slash
Pain Split

Overheat is a big no no...why was Rotoms full potential...after one overheat ur spatt goes down dramatically...so go for air slash or hydropump...also pain split is also a good move to have up ur sleave. rotom has great def/spdef/spatt so dont waste them.

-Scizzor
sword dance/roost
bullet punch
brick break/steelwing
x sissor

Good Moveset...just a few suggestions

Umbreon (sassy nature)

Payback
Wish
Toxic
Protect

Well i always love an Umbreon in a team...as much as i hate vs them...and i think ur team would be good for it...this is just a standard moveset..aka the best there is...

I feel getting rid of quagsire would be best since I already have 2 pokemon that will die from grass easily but again no clue who to put in his place or maybe keeping quagsire is better. Help please.

@Ragus
1. Scizor never needs Steel Wing when it has Technician-boosted Bullet Punch :)
2. Dragon Dance on a Special Zard? At least suggest a fully Physical moveset...

Give to Rhyperior a move instead of stealth rock, because it has 4 Ground-Rock moves.

Delete Charizard's focus blast, wait until it will learn Heat Wave.

@Ash-kid
If Charizard should gets Heat Wave, then it's Flamethrower that should be deleted, not Focus Blast.
Deleting Focus Blast would eliminate its only way to actually do damage on Heatran, and having 2 STAB Offensive moves is redundant :)

And Flamethrower is superior to Heat Wave in every way.

Okay, after looking over this here are some of the changes I'm gonna try to make for my team. I also don't have HG/SS at this time but keep the ideas for them comming.

Charizard
-flamethrower
-dragon pulse
-hp fighting (I'm not very good with getting hp's the way I want them but I'll try.)
-air slash

Feraligatr
-Waterfall (I would do aqua jet but I don't know what pokemon to breed it with for both)
-Ice Punch
-Earthquake
-Dragon Dance

Rotom
-thunderbolt
-shadowball
-overheat (He holds a white herb plus I can just switch it out)
-pain split/will-o-wisp (debating over the two right now however light screen has saved me many times.)

Rhyperior
-fire punch (stealth rock actully helps my Scizor out with bullet punch but I'll give it a shot)
-rock polish (the speed increase is very good, especially facing against an empoleon)
-earthquake
-stone edge

scizor
-Sword dance
-bullet punch
-x sissor (until I get hg/ss anyway then bug bite)
-brick break

Lastly, I'm debating over Skeptile and umbreon however could leafeon also be a good choice for it is sort of a combination of the two (Except he dosn't use sp att)

Change Dragon Dance to Swords Dance on Feraligatr if you want to use Aqua Jet.

I'd use either Substitute or Roost on Scizor instead of X-Scissor. Bug doesn't offer especially good type coverage.

X-Scissor provides STAB so dont get rid of it also before im sorry that i suggested dragon dance for charz i had a mental blank...any way good team so far

If you wanted a leafeon this should be its moveset

Leafeon

LeafBlade ---For STAB
Sword Dance --- Basic reason...to raise att
Wish ---Just nice to have a back up
Natural Gift (any type of ur choice)

With Natural Gift...make sure u wield a berry that u cant eat in battle..because then that move is pointless...anyway i would still go for umbreon..because leafeon isnt that good...

Having STAB doesn't necessarily mean that you should use it. Take a look at Weezing. Sure, it has STAB Sludge Bomb, but there are generally better options to use for type coverage as Poison offers very little. It's the same with Scizor. If you're going to use a Choice Band set, then X-Scissor is fine (although I'd recommend U-Turn instead, but that's a story in itself). Swords Dance Scizor really needs SOME supporting move and two attacking moves, one of which is almost always Bullet Punch. Steel+Bug gets meh coverage, but Steel+Fighting doesn't.
