Two girls in the group at the same time?

May and Hiraki both in Shinou?

Yeah, ok!
For the first time in the history of the anime, assuming that disaster doesn't strike, (god help us -_- ) we might have two girls in the anime next region.

Do you think it will actually happen or not? Is it possible?

Be realistic, people!

I'd love to think it could happen. It might add a new sort of interaction to the group that we've never seen before, and that would be great.

The recent Nibi gym episode gives them an excuse to dump Takeshi back into his position as leader if his family continues to prove their incompetence at running the place, so it's a possibility that they're planning to do just that. Then again my cynical side wants to say they can't keep continuity to save their lives and it could just be another missed opportunity to make a connection. It's really up in the air.

A few years ago I would have had really high doubts, but nowadays I think it's pretty possible. I mean, no one really expected the writers to drop off Kasumi for AG (let alone at all in the future), so it's possible we may be in for another surprise this region.

I really hope it. Brock was getting bored a long time ago and most people like Ash or may. So if they replace Brock for 'Pearl', it would be a smart turn.
Besides, what's so strange about two girls in one group? I'm sure they will have different goals, so the rivalry wouln't be that big.

Im game for it. I mean, as long as its balanced with 2 guys(Ash and Max I guess) I dont see a problem with it. Also, Id think another short-skirt girl would please male fans. lol

You know, I've never really understood why everyone thinks hell can't be cold, so I voted for the last option. I personally think that it's perfectly possible to have two girls, but I don't think it's gonna happen.

I'd like it, but it's unlikely. Ash, Hikari and May all pursuing tangible goals at the same time is improbable enough, let alone the girl/boy ratio.

That could happen, though. It would make the show more interesting.

I hope there are two girls in the group. That would bring a much needed change to the show.

Actually, it probably won't happen.

I would mind for it to happen but it probably won't.

*scratches her head* I really don't see why this couldn't happen...

"Writer 1: Hey, did you ever notice we've never had more than one girl in the group?"
"Writer 2: Really? Go figure..."

Its not entirely impossible for the precendent created to be one the writers didn't realize they create. Heck, Canada didn't want to set a precedent by helping the British in a war in 1901. Then we helped them in two more. Go figure.

Well I think it could happen, I mean the show has suprised us in the BF really if you think about it, I mean so what stops there being two girls in the Shinou region?

However after saying that first they have to find three things for each of them to do, they wouldn't introduce Pearl and then let her become like a Brock/Max sorta fillery type thing if she is there to advertise D/P. So i'm more worried about what each person will be doing in Shinou really.

I don't really see the problem with it.

I know these writers are inept beyond comprehension, but I don't see why every character in the main group should be restricted to reaching a certain goal, just to be a worthwhile addition to the cast :/
It would be nice if Hiraki actually did contribute to a possible *gasp* plot, by taking an alternate route to the already tired and tested methods of collecting crap to make a career. Perhaps having some information on hand that threatens the progress of Team Galaxy, thus resulting in her seeking refuge with a group of trainers. Maybe she actually is a member of Galaxy on an undercover mission, but eventually warms up to the idea of being friends with these trainers. Or even some farfetched link with the new legendaries. Those are lameass ideas that I pulled out of nowhere, but the point is that not every character needs to have 'insert goal here' to work.

Meh, they'll probably only ever have one girl, unless they do a brother-sister thing, as they've done with May and Max. That's the only way I can see two girls being on the team. Having May/Hikari, then the other Non-Ash character's little sister. =\

i think its posible i mean seriously there is only one girl!! surounded by guys!! and she is th only girl in the group!!!... i think thats kinda weird there they shouldnt replace some one... so im o.k if there is 2 girls in the group

I've been supporting the theory that we will see Ash, May AND Hikari in the D/P saga. It would make a very effective change in dynamic, whether she is in the main cast or is a rival, doesn't matter.

Eh, why not? (Especially if the group becomes one of five.) I'd like to see that. It really shouldn't be a big deal if a show that attracts both genders but leans to the shonen side has two girls in the main cast, unless Ash was, say, the only one in the group. (Then Ash would just use May and "Hikari" and say that he's so cool and popular, he's attracting the ladies. *stabbed*)

Those are some pretty good ideas, actually. Still, if Brock didn't stay, she could cook for the group in graditude that Ash and the gang are helping her.

Seeing two girls in a same group will sure make many fanboys think about the yuri-ish thing. I'd like that to happen, but a fanboy can dream, right? ^_^;

If another girl appears, she'd need to know how to cook like Brock did, if he left the group...
