Two Island Move Tutor

The move tutor on two island is supposed to teach an attack to the starter pokemon. I talked to her with my Venusaur in the front, but she would not teach it a move. Does my Venusaur have to be a certain level, or do I have to defeat the Elite 4 to get the move taught to it? The venusaur is my starter pokemon.

Make sure that Venasuar is first, and that when you would give an item like a rare candy to Venasuar that Venasaur comes up to you, takes the item, goes back down and makes a noise. The Venasaur makes its cry after giving it the item. Try that.

She have a move for your Venusaur, I think is Frenzy Plant.

it must be at it's max evolution and must have very high happiness/friendship rating

The high happiness makes sense, I trained Venusaur outside of FR then traded it back over. I'll stick a Soothe Bell on it to make it happier. Thanks

BTW does the venusaur have to be my starter? or i can teach it to any venusaur

you can teach it to any venusaur but only once. You can also teach a Charizard and a Blastoise their respective elemental hyper beams

also if you have a charizard but you have to awit a while go back to her and she will let your charizard learn Balst burn and if you have blastoise and you go back tham she will teach it Hydro cannon but after teaching3 pokemon she will stop but they must have max hapiness

Really? I tried that but it didn't work. Guess I'll have to wait a lot longer.

It needs 100% happiness and u must dont quote have beaten elite 4

I know, I got Frenzy Plant before the E4 (that is what I wanted it for anyway). Mudskipper, just make your starter happier, if you don't have a Soothe Bell, feed it items such as Protein, and train it up loads.

She teaches you Blast Burn if you have a Charizard.

Don't they have to be your starters to get the hyper moves? I thought it didn't work if it wasn't the Pokémon you started the game with.
