Right. On the main screen, "New Resident" creates a new character to live in your house, yes? And now, if you create a new character when Nook is closed for the night, is that a way of dodging his chores? That could be useful. Thanks. Moderators can lock this when both questions are ansewered.

1) Yes, "New Resident" creates a new resident. *GASP*
2) No, you cannot evade Nook's chores. You'll have to wait until the next day.
