Type distribution spread for the new Pokemon

Are you hoping for an emphasis on any types? Downplaying of any types? More combinations for certain types?

In general, I would like to see more Electric, Ice, and Dark types, with more combinations involving those types and Grass types. Furthermore, I would like to to see a downplaying of the exorbitant number of Water types that are so blatantly present in the game. Nothing out of the ordinary for my interests if you've been gleaning info from my other posts.

I think they need to make many more electric types as top priority. Then some good fire types and some good ice types. Perhaps they could make a mountain where it's snowing for the ice type or something.

Now... more Electric, Fire, Fighting, Poison and *Good*Bugs. A few more Ghosts would be good as well.

I hope they do emphasize Electric, Fighting or Fire. They have very few Pokémon, and even less combinations...

Though I'm expecting another superavit in Water... yeey.

Less water types obviously. More good bug fire dark(a special attacking one) and ghost types. No more dragon flying or rock grounds. I would also like to see pokemon that break expected stat distributions of their type. Things like high special attack dark types, slow defencive electric types and rock types with more than two for its base special defence stat. And of course more type combos.

I want to see more Fire combos, especially ones that won't pass out the second you use Surf on them.

Electric, Ice, Dark, and Ghost types definitely need some more love.

And I actually don't mind more Water types. As long as the majority of them are decent and we see some new type combos (Specifically Fire/Water and Water/Ghost).

I would also like some more Fire types, as many people have pointed out. But, there is a major lack of both Psychic and Ghost types. Oh, and ofcourse more combinations that bring new interest and imagination to the game.

I pretty much agree with what everyone has said so far. More Dark, Ice, Electric, Ghost. More decent Bug, Grass and Poison. Less Water. More interesting new type combos (Fire/Water, Bug/Electric, etc).

Definetly liking where this thread's going. And with the advent of a pure Flying-type with that delightful little music-note parrot, I don't think the ideas here are too distant. More of the underused types, less of the overused. Though I can't see the amount of Water-types being lessened any. It seems they want to make over 70% of the Pokemon in existence Water based <_<; I need more of my beloved Fire-types, too.

Ghost, Dark, Steel, a few Fighting, Dragon, Ice and good Bugs. Water is obviously got surplus, and Grass and Psychic are surpisingly plenty.

And unusual stat alignments, bringing us Electric type tanks, Fire tanks, and fast Steel types, among a few.

More fire types for sure. A fire/water, fire/grass, or fire/dragon would cancel the weakness to water. And give 'em a good special attack stat too.

More electric and ice types as well. (with better movepools)

What I want most, though, are some interesting ghost-type combinations. There's only 4 ghosts so we'll probably get some more. Almost any type mixed with ghost would have amazing creative potential.

And with Water, I want it to be more "quality over quantity". Currently there are loads of water pokemon, but I find that I only like a few out of the dozens that we have.

More Dark,Steel,Fighting etc a few eletrics and fire. I was just looking at the diffent types of pokemon and thier are a lot Grass & Water. More flying cobos not just normal guess thats what makes the legendary birds so cool besides being legendary. Id like to see a mix in starter to besides grass,water,fire.... or do some weird combos like ghost/fire, grass/ice ,Water/steel

Mainly more Ghost and Ice. The pace of Dragons is fine right now but I think Darks will skyrocket this generation honestly. As for water, I wouldn't care if Buizeru and Manaphy were the only released the generation. Move to Ice!!
