Tyranitar: Master Ball or not?

As we speak, I am fighting Evice, Tyranitar and Slowking left. Only Umbreon left for me, have 1 revive left, and have a Suicune,Entei,Raikou,Espeon, or Hitmontop to use it on. Should I snag it, or trade the master ball over to my Ruby or Emerald? Or should I use the glitch?

well, you could use the trick. First, select the masterball for your first Pokemon. Then, on the second, go to items and switch the masterball with another Pokeballs poition. Then select the Pokemons attack, call, etc. After, you still have the masterball left while you use it on the Pokemon. Use the revive on Espeon, it can take them out.

But he would have to use his Revive to get two Pokemon, and I wouldn't cheat. Don't use your Master Ball though, I made that fatal mistake and regretted it BADLY. Do you have any Ultra Balls? If so use your Revive on whichever Pokemon is the highest level (probably Espeon) and then try to weaken Tyranitar until he's weak and keep using Ultra Balls and attacking Slowking, me using a Master Ball was a real LAST RESORT.

I used the masterball on Tyranitar, I had already caught all the other pokemon in the game so, yeah.

My opinion is that Tyranitar isn't worth the Master Ball. Faint all of Evice's pokemon, put Tyranitar to sleep, get its health into red, and chuck a couple dozen Timer Balls at it. That's how I caught mine (you can also use the Master Ball glitch if you're a stinking cheater)

Its a stinkin cheat that takes up the space of another ball but the effect of the masterball is still there when you catch the pokemon.

Gee, thanks for bashing over 100 people! Seriously, use the masterball trick. Its easy, fast and the best. And there are more shodws AFTER Tyranitar. Smeargle, Ursaring, or theo ther two Johto starters?

My friend said he would use it, but I wouldn't. Just get it in the red, give it a status effect, and throw some Ultra and Timer Balls at it. You should catch it. Just remember to have alot of Ulatra and Timer Balls be cause you will need them.

that is just how i done mine timer balls you got to love them...and chuck in a few revives and potions and there is my tyranitar i sent the master ball over to fire red

Use the glitch. Using glitches to your advantage isn't cheating. It's just, using glitches to your avantage. So, use the glitch! Once you're done with catching all the shadows. Then you trade the Master Ball. No harm done.
