Which version is the best?

1 Tyranitar
Adamant
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake
- Dragon Dance
- Taunt

2 Tyranitar
Jolly
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam / Thunderbolt / Crunch
- Ice Beam / Thunderbolt / Crunch

3 Tyranitar
Adamant
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake
- Substitute
- Focus Punch

4 Tyranitar
Jolly
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake
- Substitute
- Focus Punch

5 Tyranitar
Jolly
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake
- Dragon Dance
- Taunt

I already have a Jolly one, so obviously number 4 would be the easiest.
I had a number 2 ( haha ) but it wasn't the right nature.

Personally, I think that Dragon Dance Tyranitar shouldn't be Adamant, because there is no point. Jolly seems like kind of a waste too, since it does raise Attack and Speed, but I would rather do 5 than 1, I think.

Care to give new ideas, too?

Isn't it a Standard for DDTar to be Jolly?

Raito

HADOUKEN!
Boah is nice InGame

Boah @ Lefties
Quiet
-Sub
-Focus Punch
-tbolt/Crunch/IBeam
-tbolt/Crunch/IBeam

If you wasted Sub, Brick Break works and Rock Slide/EQ

EDIT: Adamant since it's slow.

Well, I am not a huge fan of Boah, and this is for In-game and Competitive, but slightly more fun/ingame.

Tyranitar@Leftovers
Quiet Nature
-Focus Punch/Rock Slide
-Thunderbolt
-Ice Beam
-Crunch/Hidden Power Grass/Fire Blast

Focus Punch works better on NB, but rock slide is good for an attack move to hit special sponges ingame. Boltbeam as you know hits every pokemon lanturn and magneton for at least neutral damage and magneton and lanturn get hit hard by focus punch and rock slide ingame. Crunch is a good STAB move and hits claydol, starmie, celebi, and a variety of other psychic pokemon harder than the super effectvive move. For example, celebi gets hit harder by crunch than ice beam even though both are super effectvive. Crunch also has the benefit of hitting ghosts hard, but most of them like gengar have bad defense so Rock Slide takes a big chunk out of them. It also beats Light Screen zapdos. Dusclops you should watch out for, but you shouldn't leave it anyway MOST of the time. (Boah can beat it, but DDtar can't since it has to face focus punch and will-o-wisp, and CBtar COULD beat it I guess with boosted rock slides, but it has to watch out for deadly burns). Hidden Power Grass ****s up swampert, its number one switch in, but its hard to get ingame and swampert shouldn't be an ingame threat and you can switch out tyranitar anyway. Fire Blast beats steels like metagross who could pose problems, hits grasses harder than ice beam, and hits shedinja and magenton who resist boltbeam.

Master Breeder
it doesn't really matter to TTar whether it can hit shedinja, Tazzler. sandstream deals with sheddy pretty well.

So far I think I'm liking 3 and 4 the best ...

DDTar rapes everything, but give him taunt in the last slot. Even in that bloody ingame, almost every Golbat/Crobat you meet has haze. And for competitive battling, Taunt is a must. You taunt, then DD. He has the speed, he has the damage, he has taunt, HE HAS NO WEAK!!! Maybe except Flygon and Claydol, but meh :p.

The first one with Ice Beam as the 4th slot.

missing Donphan, and Swampert, Breloom too, Heracross kinda counts also.

Not really, with Breloom and Hera's crappy defenses, with one or two DDs TTar can easily take care of them. Donphan and Swampert might just be an issue, especially if it's Cursepert, But Taunt takes care of Curse, and the same goes for them, neither are really resistant to Earthquake.

Which DDTar is better, 1, or 5. ( Adamant or Jolly )

Frost Nova

The predator awaits.

Neither Rock Slide nor Earthquake can hit Breloom or Hera for super effective damage. Besides, the AI is too stupid to switch out and will just keep attacking, so that kinda negates Taunt's use. Cursepert isn't really seen ingame except for the BF.

Taunt is used for taunting attempts to status, Haze / psuedo haze and stat ups. It also blocks Leech Seed, Spikes and Substitute, which basically makes DDtar unstoppable when the opponent's bulky water and physical wall is gone.

Whatever, I thought I deleted it.

Like I said, this is also for competitive uses, and ingame. ( Including Battle Frontier. )

I want to use Taunt to take care of Hazers, Roarers, and stat-upers.

And as far as I knew, the standard for DDTar was Jolly.

Frost Nova

The predator awaits.
I think I mentioned this somewhere before: DDtar needs Adamant to dish out maximum damage.

Yes, you did, on my Emerald Team Thread. It's okay though. Also, Pokerealm says for Adamant DDTar you should max out on Attack and Speed EV's. I don't understand why. How many EV's should my Tyranitar need in Speed? Where else would I put EV's if I don't max Speed?

Yup, Adamant is the standard. He'll get all the speed he needs from Dragon Dancing, so Jolly is quite useless.
Typical EV spread for DDtar: EVs: 44 HP / 240 Atk / 176 Spd / 48 SDef
