Otherwise, if you don't want to waste money, fight multiple Geodudes and Gravelers to gain Defense EVs.

to get chan, lee, top i just used the stat boosters iron, calcium etc.

it is kinda expensive but a few rounds through the elite 4 will get your money back

Eh, ragazzo!
The best way, without having to spend money on vitamins, is to EV train by fighting Geodude. That way, you can up your Defense as needed.
