Hahaha.

Edit: As I side note, most people believe that we won't see a recession in 2018, but rather around 2020-2021. This means, despite market irregularities, we will see Trumpomania unfold without stop but we might end up with another contested election. for 2020.

Hopefully Poutine will enter into Lybia for some fun for his own election by then.

Okay. So the idiot in chief is now claiming people are saying merry christmas again because of him;

https://news.sky.com/story/donald-t...e-it-ok-to-say-merry-christmas-again-11184240

I’m not even gonna!! I mean the quote unquote “war on christmas” was almost so stupid it was becoming a parody of itself (think Starbucks cups), but Trump has taken it to new levels and put his personal stamp on it. Even when repeating fox news tropes, he can't help but make it about himself.

The dumb "war on Christmas" is just a super tame version of the "transgender people waiting to attack in bathrooms" really. How many times has someone actually gotten mad about someone saying Merry Christmas, when it was really about trying to make it known not everyone celebrates Christmas, but that doesn't mean they hate the holiday.

The "War on Christmas" rhetoric has been trotted out for almost 100 years in the same goddamn form, and that's only counting its known history on the internet. We just changed a couple of words around over time. It's a Pagan holiday that the Christians wanted in on because early Christianity lacked fun.

Also Julian Assange's Twitter got deleted and a bunch of alt-righters are mad they can't access their favorite rapist's stream of consciousness anymore. I suggest as a replacement just a line of pure unbridled smugness.

From what I understand he was sharing fake medical documents of Hilary Clinton, and that's kinda not allowed for a few reasons.

Also there was some weird new rule about faking being verified, which he was also doing.

On the regional news, looks Iran protests will continue for the foreseeable future. It seems that they are started by Iranian hardliners, but have expanded further.

Unlike the Persian observers, I suspect these protests will turn violent and into a regime change attempt, then a civil war. Just like in Egypt, Syria and Ukraine. There is no doubt in my mind that the hardliners they speak of are actually the people involved in Iran-Contra affair, just like how Gezi was instigated by a joint effort by Turkish Deep State groups, Ergenekon(Eurasianists), Gülenists(pro-CIA), and Counterguerilla(pro-NATO).

Edit: It seems there are others who think the same thing.

Edit 2: The Orangeman supports the Peoples' Coup.

Edit 3: Orangeman snaps at the other Islamic Republic.

North Korea has to be more stable than the average person thinks, otherwise it would have collapsed by now. If they were as crazy as some people say there would have been a revolution or coup or something along those lines.

Only a liberal would describe North Korea as more stable than the average person thinks...

Nazi Germany didn’t collapse overnight and neither has any communist/fascist/socialist government collapsed overnight. Read a history book and you would know that.

The reason no one protests is because all opposition is killed of. You don’t seem to comprehend what a dictatorship really is.

Canada historically supported US' Israel votes, but this was an exception. Marshall Islands also did not support US in some previous votes.

Anyways, I would advise against seeing big geopolitical games in UN resolutions in Israel. Not because there isn't any, but the amount of UN resolutions regarding Israel has gone to comical levels, and have stifled bigger crimes ongoing in Myanmar, Turkey and Syria.

*Nauru is more of a Australian client, though. So is Togo.

You realize that Syria, “Palestine”, Iran, and Turkey are allies and all share the same ideology, right? No one seems to pay attention to that.

Wow. This is great.

So apparently there's this new green card proposal by the DHS that cut extensions from the equation of H1-Bs when waiting a green card. So people who have been waiting for a decade or more in the U.S. could be deported. These people have homes in the U.S. and kids born in America. It could affect up 1 million people waiting for a green card. And some of those people are my family members

Well f*** so now apparently legal immigrants aren't being given chances to become green card holders, but DACA immigrants could still have green cards in their reach? What the actual flip?

You guys don't know how f**** pissed I am right now. My head is honestly hurting because this directly affects a lot of my family. A lot of my family in the U.S. have lived here for a decade, waiting for green cards. I have a 14 yr cousin who moved here when he was 4 and he doesn't even speak the major language of the country he emigrated from.

I'm done.

Edging closer to nuclear armageddon sure feels great this fine wednesday morning.

How debased are the GOP? How is this the new normal? I feel like I'm losing my mind in slow motion, being constantly gaslit by this protofascist. The joke isn't funny anymore.

That actually makes some sense. The point of green cards has always eventual application for US citizenship, and H1-B visas are always meant to be temporary. Legally and bureaucratically I fail to see the issue, but I obviously understand the moral and real issue.

tl;dr save yourself and your family before getting f***ed anally because this isn't going to change anytime soon.

Edit: Hakan Atilla, the former Halkbank banker, has been found guilty of avoiding Iran sanctions, with prosecutor implying obstruction of justice.

So, I'm no diplomacy expert, but I'm sure taunting a psychotic dictator ship over who has a bigger nuke button is stupid on so many levels.

Eh, not really. You've described a good portion of the 20th century and humanity is still here. There's no 'what if' scenario that doesn't result in KJU dead or deposed.

What if the what if scenario is that you make a psychopathic dictator mad and make him attack the country because of the leader's prideful and willful statements?

Say there is a way to get rid of Kim Jung Un. I hardly would think that taunting him is a sufficient strategy.

Kim's clearly not insane. Cynical and vicious, yes, but also fully versed in the art of self-preservation.

Trump's stupid and crude, but the way in which people stand aghast when he tells the world's worst tyrant to do one perfectly illustrates how he won.

It really hard to take North Korea seriously as a threat when they are notorious for marking threat and not following up on them over and over again.

Also even if trump is right he could of handle it in a better way.

I don't think there are any realistic circumstances in which Kim Jong Un would actually a pre-emptive nuclear strike on US soil. He may be dangerous and psychotic sure, but he is also clever and well aware of his own military prowess, or rather lack of prowess. The North Korean army consists of stolen 1970s Soviet tanks, semi-modern fighter jets, mounted rocket launchers that are known to have glitches in them and the rest of the military state isn't in very good state to match up to the US. The North Koreans know that if they incite war with the US and its allies, they would be unable to stop a full nation invasion after exhausting their nuclear deterrents.

This whole situation began with Kim Jong Un seeking to protect his regime from ensuring that it is never toppled by the US as Saddam Hussein's was in the early 2000s. As an old saying goes, the threat of using a nuclear deterrent is actually much stronger than actually using it and that is what Kim Jong Un's banking on. If Trump and the rest of the West had acknowledged that and walked on the thin ice cautiously - without unnecessarily provoking Kim Jong Un or the North Koreans - and actually saw through the bluff, then this cold war of sorts would be much warmer and we might actually be more likely to enter potential talks.

Instead, we've now got ourselves a penis-measuring contest between Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un over who's red button is bigger, who's nuclear deterrent is bigger and who's ego is overall bigger. God help us.

I do think that containment with North Korea is pretty much out of the question. Not because there is some fear North Korea will attack Japan, South Korea, or America, but because North Korea has made a habit of exporting it’s nuclear technology to nations like Iran. If Norton korea is willing to give nuclear knowledge or technology to anyone who pays for it, is dangerous for everyone.
