Candidates can't help who endorses them, true. That wasn't the problem though. The problem was that Trump dragged his feet denouncing the endorsement, it wasn't until a massive outcry and backlash did he do such and even then it wasn't a very strong condemnation.
And after a second reading, it looks more like he's actually with Trump (his views, certainly, match him more closely, and he's supported him before), which, as the analysts pointed out, could easily be an attempt to not hurt Trump, and therefore discredit Hillary. The article doesn't help the point at all.

Again, he has still endorsed Hillary Clinton. Not voting someone just because of a minority of their voters is absurd, you might as well not vote for the Democratic candidates as well since they haven't disavowed their followers who have caused security problems at Trump's rallies.

You do realize this wouldn't of happened if the Bernie supporters, BLM and MoveOn.Org didn't cause so many security concerns during Chicago and the attack in Dayton? Violence begets violence. It still doesn't justify these supporters, however. However, the source does seem to be biased if it's try to compare Trump to Hitler in other articles; it's disingenuous to compare him to a Fascist if he isn't one according to Forbes.
