U.S. Politics: The Biggest Trade in WNBA History

Flirtin' With Disaster
Bill Cassidy (R-La.), Susan Collins (R-Maine), Joe Manchin III (D-W.Va.), Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), Rob Portman (R-Ohio), Mitt Romney (R-Utah), Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.), Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.), Jon Tester (D-Mont.), and Mark R. Warner (D-Va.).

These are the names.

Nobody, obstructionist, obstructionist, obstructionist, nobody, racist cult member, nobody, obstructionist, nobody and nobody.

4 glorified trolls who do whatever they want because LOL centrism, even against party lines, one member of the biggest cult in the US who have too much money and bigotry(who is also a failed presidential candidate) to be allowed tax exemption and/or not have CPS called on every household, and 5 nobodies outside of their home state with no staying power.

Notice how only Romney is anything more than a troll or functionary.

THIS is why you don't say "All of X" by way of "The X"

Because the alarmist cynical way you worded it, you made it look like Mitch the Turtle was running in cahoots with Pelosi herself directly on this committee(Or gave off that vibe), portrayed Manchin, Sinema, Collins and Murkowski as respected & beloved members of their parties, and acted like somebody actually bigger than Romney was directly leading the shebang.

Details matter. Portrayal matters.

Don''t obfuscate things like this.

THey SHOULD be taxng Teslas and other EVs. Tax the rich people who can afford that ****.

I'm told this is purely politics behind. The general population is ok with immigrations, but the actual voters? They aren't. Like look at Texas for reference.

I have said this multiple times in this thread, but Texas definitely needs to rot in the deepest shithole, and its pro-fascist population needs to die off to decrease the country's surplus population and deliver the rest of the country from the shame that the state has inflicted. The state will never vote out the assholes that it elects such as Ted Cruz, and its population will not change its ways until 2028 until the very earliest.

In fact, below is precisely one of the reasons why Texas needs to die out and be eradicated, as there is no excuse for the state, as their elections are decided by majority vote:

Anytime Ted Cruz is mentioned, which is still a lot, I like to refer everyone to this video. My favorite method is the third crowbar method, which starts in the 1:02 mark.

I get told a lot that aNy DeMoCrAt Is BeTtEr ThAn A rEpUbLiCaN whenever I point out that Joe Manchin is garbage trash on all levels. Gonna be great having that conversation again.

Manchin is a Republican.

Harris has some other really shitty stances (handling of trans prisoners, SESTA/FOSTA, etc.) that throw a lot of vulnerable people under the bus. That doesn't make this any less completely disgusting.

I hate this administration, but what I hate more is the fact that this is what we were gonna get. A bunch of people (read: dumbasses) said that they thought the election of an actual fascist was going to energize the Democratic Party to choose a more left-leaning candidate. And look where that got us!

Ugh. I hate this country sometimes.

I definitely do not agree with Joe Manchin's stance, but *at least* he is much easier to work with and much easier to convince than ANY Senate Republican at this point. He really does need to forget trying to placate West Virginia, as that seat is definitely going to the GOP in 2024, and follow the Doug Jones model. I am not giving up hope that he turns around in the next several months.

And yes, I am not too much of a fan of Joe Biden's administration. I firmly believe that Bernie Sanders would have been a much better choice and that we would actually have *more* seats in the House and Senate if he was the Democratic nominee, especially with regards to the Hispanic vote. I am still rather sad about that, as Bernie Sanders is far too old to get another shot at the White House. It hurts, but I can live with the fact that Bernie Sanders is not the president and appreciate what he is doing in the Senate as the Budget Committee Chair.

Eh, ragazzo!
Can we not damn a whole state because of people in power?

What about all the PoC and LGBT members who have been fighting for their rights too? Should they be damned as well?

Bernie has said pro-Cuba statements in his past. He'd have lost the Latino vote in a heartbeat once they were dug up again.

And genocide towards Texas is still genocide.
You wanna fix Texas? Open the border up. Make the whitecishetrepublicans squirm in fear.

Let's cut out the entire state needs to die talk. I get the anger, but this kind of talk crosses a line.

Take it down a notch or so, thank you.

This is a general warning.

Give him, and Boris Johnson, time.

I am worried that a global attempt to defy mask restrictions is coming on the 21st.

DEAR GOD, IS THIS THE SCREWFLY SOLUTION BUT REALISTIC?

An Ultra-Spreader event to own the libs.

Asswipes.

That is not a part of the warning, but if it gets to that point, it will be added.

Let's just say, that kind of behavior is being kept an eye on too.

Criticism of politicians is welcome, but harassment isn't.

You wanna fix Texas? Open the border up. Make the whitecishetrepublicans squirm in fear.

If I recall correctly, Bernie's statements would only be damaging in places like Florida due to the anti-socialist/anti-Castro sentiment that the state has. Given what happened to Florida's voting trends in the 2020 elections, I do not think too much would have been lost there. I could be wrong though, on where (in a geographic manner) the impact of such statements would be most felt.

Well, genocide towards Texas is clearly not an option, and I can respect the overall sentiment on this and will adjust my future statements accordingly. Sadly, opening the border does not appear to be happening anytime soon, so we have to count that option out too.

The sentiments behind my anger towards the state has to do with the demographics in Texas. Yes, there are some changes, but with the current conditions, I do not see the state being off the Republican column until 2028, which I have said multiple times. So no, I do not see the Democrats winning any statewide race in Texas in 2024, which is when Ted Cruz would be next up for re-election. It might be close, but I think presidential turnout would put that particular race out of range.

The problem in Texas is that there are far too many Republicans, especially in the rural areas, who cannot be convinced to change their votes in future elections. And the Texas Democratic party is far from competent at this point, if what I have heard and read about it is true. Apparently, there exists some real urban/rural divisions going on, mixed in with Black vs Brown race politics that I really cannot get a hold of. The Executive Director of the Texas Democratic party recently got chased out of office, and almost all of the senior staff members left with him. The current demolishing in leadership is really not encouraging, and I do not see any good things coming out of it, since it appears to happen every 2-6 years.

So that leaves us with the county Democratic parties within Texas, with many of them being poor and underfunded. I am not sure of the rules regarding the posting of campaign websites, Democratic county party websites, and fundraising links. Depending on what is allowed here, I might post some of these types of links, if there is any one here who is interested in rebuilding the Democratic party presence here. What I will say, though, that Cameron, Hidalgo, Jim Wells, Kleberg, Bee, San Patricio, Willacy, Goliad, Gonzales, and Kenedy counties should get some attention, as all of them trended towards Trump in 2020, and I can definitely see the Republicans picking up even more ground in 2022 due to the sluggish Democratic presence and the relentless Republican gerrymandering in Texas. Which frustrates me to no end, and was a big reason for the anger that I expressed in my previous posts.

So those are just my thoughts, which are a lot to take in. Feel free to take it what you will.

Naftali Bennet, the far-right opposition leader, has replaced Netenyahu as the Israeli PM.

And yes, this is actually a good thing, at least for the time being.

Most importantly, this means US will finally have a political position in the MENA.

Edit: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2021_Armenian_parliamentary_election
As a side note, pro-Russian opposition representing the old regime is expected to return in the Armenian snap elections, so we will likely see another war in Arstakh, this time with Russia siding against Azerbaijan again.

The President "embarrassing" us should be one of our lowest concerns to be honest.

I think the Cuba stuff would hurt for really dumb reasons.

There's a lot of people in America who literally cannot accept that America is not the best in everything. While Cuba has spent the last couple decades investing in child literacy and healthcare, specifically going all out in training doctors, America has done the opposite, so while Cuba is starting to beat America in some area like child literacy and elder health and longevity, America isn't really doing anything to fix that, and instead is going the opposite and cutting programs and systems that would help.

So while the solution should be putting more care and effort into education and healthcare, and wanting to get better as a country, we have a large contingent who refuse to think anything is wrong, that the other country is just evil and needs bad things to happen to them, and things slowly get worse because the second it's even considered anyone in power who speaks up is treated like a traitor for trying to help.

Don't outsiders judge us based on how our president behaves, though.
Everyone thinks Xi is a prick, but you will find that he often gets his way due to the economic power that China has. While some leaders may say some bad things, they will, at the end of the day, do what is in the best interest of their nation even if it means partnering with someone who they think is a stooge. When I visited Quebec to see in-laws, no one judged me based on Trump.

Too late Biden is feel like a joke to us western Canadians (not sure how Eastern Canadians see in Biden) and sound like the Russia does not fear/respect him like they're with Obama and Trump's administration.
