U.S. Politics: The Biggest Trade in WNBA History

Reminder that Trump bragged about pulling back the US army from Afghanistan before Biden could do so (Trump failed), openly supported the Taliban, and the GOP made sure to erase the evidence just today that he said so.

Also, several infamous Republicans while being hypocrites are siding with the Taliban.
Trump did some idiotic things. But Biden defended the decision, and still continues to do so when he had the power to do something about this.

The next generation will wage the next major war against the Taliban, and because of these blunders, it may well be a World War. In the meantime as I said, the people of Afghanistan will pay for these terrible decisions.

Biden delayed withdrawal by 4 months, and the alternative was throw more soldiers into a war only 10% of Americans support more action on. It would be incredibly unpopular if he did another surge.

It doesn’t help that a FOIA request in 2019 showed that the top military brass was lying about how bad Afghanistan was going, so this outcome was kind of happening regardless. The only thing Biden did wrong was assure people that leaving wouldn’t have had this initial result, but in a way proved we did need to get out. If this was the result after 20 years for this quick of a collapse means no amount of time would have helped.

After 20 years, it kind of looked very useless to keep defending Afghanistan if it was going to fall so easily without the US helping after all that time. As sad as it sounds, there wasn't much point to keep defending it.
Yeah. The war benefited no one except defense contractors. We should have gotten out a long time ago.

His symptoms might not be that bad since he was vaccinated, though he is disabled.

As said though, he is a rich guy who can afford the care.

The problem is all these Covid Deniers/People appeasing that crowd in power use this as an excuse to say "it's not bad, we don't need any mandates or restrictions" as they receive top shelf medical care and there's no hospital beds left in their area.

Dallas actually ran out of ICU beds for kids.

Nursing Homes are now set to be required to have their staff be vaccinated or they lose Medicaid and Medicare funding. Just a note that it’s apparently estimated that around 40% of all nursing staff aren’t vaccinated.

This is a good thing. If you can’t do something as simple as having medical staff being vaccinated then have fun getting fked over. Justified all the way.

I'm pretty sure the only way DeSantis could have made things worse was to make Covid Mandatory.

How are his current actions not suggesting that already? LOL. He simply hasn't said it out loud just yet.

Trump rally in Cullman, AL starts in 15 minutes. Meanwhile, that same city has declared a COVID state of emergency.
