Well they did literally sit on open vacancies for years just so Obama couldn't appoint someone. I almost hope the 35-50% SS cuts force something, because if that doesn't do anything for that group nothing will.

poor taste in timing. US drone strikes hit and killed civilians in aleppo last week. drop the bomb probably wasnt the best way to put that. really insensitive dude(cant believe i said that).

Also, to respond to the third party thing from earlier, starting one now would be a good idea. younger liberals are dissatisfied with the current DNC, and getting on the socialist bandwagon with campaigning would do you some good voterwise.
If you dislike the socialist part, libertarian has some growth if you are interested in that

Green party is a joke under jill stein tbh

I can't name a presidential candidate the Greens have run in my lifetime that I have ever thought highly of if I was even aware of them.

what i am saying is that if you dont like the more left leaning socialist 3rd party, there is a more right leaning libertarian party.

Basically, plenty of options, but those 2 will probably see the biggest growth next election due to the massive S***storm that was this election

And now that incident has resulted in murder. The Russian ambassador to Turkey was murdered while in Turkey.

Time to see just how our new President reacts to this, once he realizes that in reality (as opposed to his crappy reality show) this sort of thing has consequences.

jill stein, for all she did re: recounts, is a little too tinfoil-hat-y about certain things (like vaccines), and ralph nader is kind of a clown. other than them, i can't think of any green party presidential candidates who have ran since 1990.

But I suppose Donald Trump also doesn't know that he constantly looks like he's trying to get Vladimir Putin to go to the junior prom with him, so that may not even be a barrier anymore.

Considering the average age of the Supreme Court, Trump may appoint more crooks and crackpots to the court.

But for Supreme court picks we're most likely to get Heritage Foundation picks, who are so bad it's past the point of joking.
