Agreed but it's understandable with the fact that GameFreak never expected it to become a phenomenon. Many of the RGB sprites. I'm looking at you, Charmeleon back sprite and Pidgeot front sprite.
A Vaporeon.
Just what the heck was that...
Care to share some examples? Also, don't double post!A lot of the back sprites for gen IV were from really unappealing angles of the Pokemon.
Is that Nicki Minaj?

...I think it was going to get boring if the Pokemons were designed always in the same position.....
I understand that in older games the sprites may seem a bit crappy, but in the later generations, which the color pallete was larger and the pixles were too many, I couldn't bear looking to specifically two Pokemons:
[img139]http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/8/82/Spr_3r_147.png[/img139] In R/S/E and FR/LG, Dratini was purple instead being blue.
[img139]http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/9/98/Spr_3r_134.png[/img139] Again in R/S/E and FR/LG, this time Vaporeon is ocean-green instead blue.
It's pretty much of a coincidence that two Pokemons of a same generation games that would be blue, were not colored that way...
Actually, gf did this many pokes. Sneasel comes to mind, in gs it was brown. Then in crystal in was black. Then in gen 3 it became light black, then in gen 4 onwards it became darker black.
I'm too lazy to attach images, check bulbapedia. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Sneasel_(Pok%C3%A9mon)
Also, golbat's wing color changes from purple to red or something.
