Too many redundant moves, too many Pokemon of the same type, use of Special Gyarados, and use of Double Team = 0/10.

Yes, because SheerReading is awesome ._.

Dragonthrower on Charizard is pointless because Dragon Claw won't do jack to anything without STAB or a 4x weak(which is impossible, unless you have a Dragon/Dragon Type ._.). Hence Bellyzard.

Special Gyarados fails. Its Attack is at least twice as high as its Sp. Attack, and not many Pokémon have that profound a difference. Double Team is the most idiotic move on the planet, and Gyarados doesn't have the right Typing to be messing around with it anyway. If an Electric move hits, it'll die. Shock Wave will destroy you.

If you have Charizard, ya dont need Moltres. I would give Lapra either Mist or Confuse Ray. And even though he is lvl 100, maybe you should get rid of Gyrados too. Your team would be decimated by a few electric types b/c all of your team either has the Flying or water element..which isn't all that good. Let me share with you the "effective Team" given by the FireRed/ LeafGreen guide book.

Lapras
Exeggutor
Magneton
Onix
Gengar

That team covers almost every element. Plus I thought that since two of your Pokemon were in it, I thought you could put it to good use. Hope it helps.

All of these are either Flying or water. Charizard, Zapdos, Articuno, Moltres, and Gyarados are ALL part Flying type. Lapras and Gyarados are BOTH water.
All of those can be KO'd by electric types, even Zapdos.

Oh yeah, that's right... I thought you said weak or somemutt... Zapdos can't be 1HKO'ed by an electric attack.

Electric nullifies Zapdos's electric weakness. With the right EV/IV/Nature, any pokemon on this team can take at least one electric attack, still not a good idea. The main problem with this team is it's HUGE weakness to rock, 3 pokemon 4x weak to it and 3 2x weak to it

Guess I fergot rock types....nah well, the point is he needs more variety in his team. I bet we can both agree that since he started with and is currently raising Charizard, he doesn't need Moltres(seeing as they are the exact same elements).

Well....Charizard does have some..."untapped potential" If you will, all you have to do is get all the right stuff..which is hard. But Charmander is the hardest starter to raise, as is Squirtle the medium, and Bulbasaur the easiest. I have seen Charizard be really good....(it was only once tho...) But since his Charizard knows Blast Burn, he obviously has established quite a good relationship with His Charizard. Speaking of friendship, here is something i have thought about but can't really find a definate answer: Does a strong friendship (such as one that would cause Pichu to evolve or one that would cause Eevee to evolve into Espeon or Umbreon) cause a Pokemon to hurt itself less when it's confused?
