I just got the newest issue of NOM in the mail and I thought I should tell you

The hunt for deoxys events are starting in October at vue cinemas in these locations:

Croydon Grants- 8/9 october
Cheshire Oaks- 15/16 october
North Finchley- 22/23 october
Leeds- 25/26 october
leicester- 27/28 october
Birmingham- 29/30 0ctober
Bristol- 5/6 november

as well as downloading deoxys you can play XD before it is released,
Theres a 'trading card zone' where up to eight players can challenge eachother.

I have sent a PM to serebii about this and I will be attending the Croydon Grants event on the 8th

FAQ​
Q: will the Nintendo DS work in these cinemas?
A: only the nintendo gameboy advance of SP will work at the events, since they are the only console capable of holding a wireless adapter, and dont smash open your DS to make a hole so it can fit because it still wont work

Q: can you get Deoxys on ruby or sapphire?
A: sorry but no, only fire red, leaf green and emerald can go to Birth Island to get Deoxys

Q: Can you take my cartridge to the event to get Deoxys?
A: Sorry but I do not want to have the responsibility of other peoples games, because if it gets stolen or flushed down the toilet or anything.

Q: you can get deoxys via the space shuttle thing so why go to an event?
A: because the space shuttle thing is a lie, it dosent work, the space shuttle only records how many weeks you have been playing the game

whe here in belgium can never such an event nintendo does not do such things in belguim but good thing is that im the only boy in my town that has an dozen jirachi's :)

I just realised that Emerald comes a few days after the Cheshire Oaks one. If the date was set back a bit, I could get Deoxys on emerald and Leaf Green!

I have my imported emerald, I am getting deoxys on LG and emerald. and my older bro is getting one on his FR

can you download the aurora ticket before the E4?

Yes finally and i live only about 10 minutes away from Croydon Grants.

Anynews about events for Mew?

Also i think that they are doing this to increase nintendo's popularity in England.

Hmm, I might be able to go to the Birmingham one, I just have to hope my half-term takes place somewhere around the 29/30th.

Would be nice if one was in Wales, but guess I'll just have to hope I can attend that one.

NOM (Nintendo Official Magazine).

We did have the Eon Ticket event, but all that happened was getting the Eon Ticket, and getting a few gifts.

Back on topic, I think that is is stupid and pathetic that they would bring the event to the UK so close to, and even before in someplaces, the release of emerald. Does anyone else agree with me? I think that this is one of the stupidest moves NOE has made. There is no way i will manage to keep on top of my college work and complete my Emerald, if I get it that soon, in one or two days. I am going to send an e-mail and see what they say.

I have recently heard that you are holding an event for players of Pokemon Fire Red version and Pokemon Leaf Green Version to aquire an Aurora Ticket, and allow players to obtain a Deoxys. This feature is also in Pokemon Emerald Version, which is release on the 21st October 2005, and cannot be utilised because somepeople can only attend events before this date. I am writing this e-mail to enquire if you are having another event in the future to obtain this ticket because you are not treating the gamers fairly if they are unable to get this feature on their game. Also, if this is not going to happen, would it be possible to send you the carts to obtain the tickets at a later date?

If you are having this service then would it be possible to send the game carts to you and have you transfer the Eon Ticket and the Aurora ticket onto the game?

it comes out tommorow but since I am subscribed I get them early sometimes


I found it in nintendo offical magazine and no news about Mew, Lugia or Ho-oh yet

and I never knew about the eon ticket event, and it was for just Lati@s, nothing special
