Ultimate move?

Nothing like the last thread, it's more of an opinion thread!
So, the big question is, based on power, practicality and PP(Wow, Lots of Ps.) or fun, what do YOU think is the ultimate move on Fire red and Leaf Green? If you want you can give seperate moves for seperate movesets!
Remember to give reasons!
Mine would be Cross Chop probably, because it's quite like a Hyper Beam kind move, except a large critical hit ratio and no lost turn, even if there's a low PP to it. Closely followed by no. 2, Metronome, for the fun of it! And at no. 3, Flamethrower for power and PP.

Well this is just going to fill up with just powerful attacks, with no reason or strategy behind them. Personally I don't see the point.

I like substitute. It's just hilarious, as well as coupling it with rest on a poke with high HP. I just like the little dinosaur thing that acts as the substitute

I'd have to say one of the high powered, yet good amount of PP special moves.

Surf
Psychic
Thunderbolt
Etc.

My personal favorite though is probably Surf, good PP, good damage, and you can teach it to any amount of Pokemon for no cost.

Ice Beam.

Has a chance to freeze, which is the BEST status ailment, good damage, enough PP to last a battle, the animation looks cool, and 99.9 percent of water pokemon can learn it.

Arieal Ace and Earthquake both tie for first place in my book. Surf is also a great move as well.

I really love Earthquake. It's very powerful, especially when used by the right Pokemon against the right Pokemon. It's only downside is that it hits your partner in double battles. But I prefer moves with more PP and slightly less power over moves with low PP and slightly higher power. For example, I use Surf over Hydro Pump, even though my water Pokemon usually know both and I'm often tempted to use Hydro Pump.

I dunno... I guess I like Brick Brick many things learn it... its buyable... decently powerful... decent PP... destroys P-passers... fighting has 5 strengths... In combination with a ghost attack nothing resists (yay medicham...)...

Eruption, Water Spout are the best ones. After them comes Aeroblast and Sacred Fire and after them comes Earthquake and Psychic. That's all.

I prefer pp over power, as in ice beam over blizzard, but sheer cold on a lvl 86 walrein rules. never misses!
