Um...Hi, I'm new here and I need a little Help on Firered. I need advise on how to get houndour and teddiursa (I think thats how you spell it). So...can anyone help me?

These Pokemon are not normally available on FireRed. I'll copy/paste the explanation of Altering Cave (where these two Pokemon would supposedly be available in) from my Emerald FAQ:

Q: What does Altering Cave do? All I find is Zubat!

A: The speculation was that we would be able to change the Pokemon in Altering Cave through Wonderspots. These are machines that you use Mystery Gift with, and they've been used at Pokemon Rocks America and the Pokemon Center in NYC to give out the Tickets for Deoxys and Lugia/Ho-oh. Unfortunately, there have been no Wonderspots for Altering Cave (in Japan or elsewhere), so it's basically a feature that they probably had every intention of doing something cool with, but just never did for whatever reason. The Altering Cave Pokemon can be obtained in Colosseum and Emerald.

Unfortunately, you'll need Emerald or Colosseum in order to get Houndour or Teddiursa. They're also obtainable in the new Pokemon: XD.

I say beat Firered, then get linkage with other games, then buy emerald, Beat emerald, and just get them from the Safari

Um...One Problem, I don't have a Gamecube anymore, so i can't get Colloseum Or XD. Is there another way to get them without cheating?

Trade with someone who does have a GC + Colosseum and/or XD. Or just trade with someone with the required Pokemon.

If you could get Emerald version, because it has all the missing Johto Pokemon. Including the starters. This is the only other way at this point if you don't have Colo/XD.
