hi, looking for suggestions as to a good attacker moveset for my umbreon in emerald. here's what it has just now:

Umbreon@ amulet coin
trait: synchronize
nature: calm
moves: iron tail
faint attack
quick attack/ moonlight?
confuse ray.

any ideas would be great, thanks.

Calm Nature reduces your Umbreon's Attack stat, so Iron Tail and Quick Attack are even weaker. Why would you want to use Umbreon as an attacker in the first place? Its offensive stats are low.

i know, but i'm in the process of EV training it to try and get it's attack stats up a bit. ok, well if not as an attacker what would it be best used for then? i'd just like to start using it on my team more as it's 1 of my favourite pokemon, although the rest of my team are mostly offensive.

My main use for Umbreon is as a Mean Look/Baton Pass trapper, which is also what most people will ever include an Umbreon on their team to do. For the other two moves, I would personally recommend Taunt and Wish to give support to the rest of your team, since Umbreon can easily take a few hits.

A good moveset for Umbreon according to me would be :Toxic, Mean Look, Confuse Ray and Moon Light with a Calm nature.
