Uncut one piece may be real

Means Australia would get the uncut DVDs. No one else. Why? Because Madman Entertainment has the distribution license to the DVDs in Australia, similar to how they have them for Dragon Ball DVDs, especially the first thirteen episodes.

Just because DVDs like those will be released in Australia doesn't mean the US will get it. Kahn is very adamant about keeping the DVDs in the US cut so that the uncuts don't sell alongside them and out do them in sales.

Now that is messed up. so you are saying kahn is the one prevennting the uncuts from being released.

If that's so the, i must say this

KAHN MUST BE TAKEN OFF THE AIR BECAUSE HE IS THE ANTI ANIME DEVIL. AND WILL STOP AT NOTHING TO DESTROY ALL ANIME.

God, just import them. He can't patrol Ebay and Amazon looking for them.

Import what? The Japanese version, which cost $40 just to get one, with no subs or uncut dub, or the Hk subs and their laughable subs?

Here, I was hoping for some good news, instead I got something I knew for a long time. That, and I still doubt it'll come up. Instead, I'll just see if a member I know at another forum, will find out if uncuts will come out, since it's apparently still in discussion.

Quick question. The uncut DVD's for the first thirteen episodes (and possibly the first movie) of Dragon Ball and of One Piece are available in Austrailia (with possible imports from them), but what dubs are they of? I would guess the Australian dub, but I have no idea of what quality that dub is. And if is isn't the Australian dub... then I have no clue otherwise.

Australia has the same One Piece dub the U.S has.

The uncut version if it comes out in Australia.

Dragon Ball comes with the uncut episodes you saw on Cartoon Network's Toonami in the US by FUNimation. Includes Japanese audio as well. I would assume that if Madman has indeed released One Piece DVDs or will, they'd be uncut and would possibly include the Japanese dub. My guess would be that the dub you'd be hearing in English would be from 4Kids. They're simply a distributor, nothing more. They just release what they're given to work with.

Do note that The Saga of Goku from Madman includes "Curse of the Blood Rubies." However, it's the same 1995 dub that is cut and censored.

Very shocking to hear that a 4Kids Animé is going to get Uncut treatment o_O

I'll import the DVD's. They'd just better not stop like they did with Yu-Gi-Oh and Shaman King.

Then why the hell is it impossible to buy the first thirteen episodes of Dragon Ball uncut in the U.S., then? Meh, whatever. I also find it odd that 4Kids is releasing an uncut version of One Piece, and yet they won't even put it out in stateside... Meh, I might get it imported if the subtitles for the Japanese version are good, since I still wouldn't watch the 4Kids dub due to the voices and constant blaring music (which goes against my policy to give 4Kids any money for their horrendous dubs, but whatever).

Impossible in the US because Kidmark (which is now know as Lion's Gate Films) holds the distribution rights to the US releases.

Oh man, that was a good joke. You really had me there.

Uncut One Piece...*LOL* What's next? 4Adults Entertainment?

Actually, Madman DOES own the distribution rights to an Uncut One Piece release. However, the chances that 4Kids might actually give them anything may be slim to none. Madman's basically the Australian distribution equivalent of FUNimation in the US.

Yeah but Madman is Australia. Knowing the US like I do, a big company hailing from there isn't going to take another country's business seriously. Especially when it's 4Kids.
