Favorite Underrated guy poll.
Options:
Dragonite: An incredible pokemon with Salamence sweeping capabilities. It can also Heal Bell. But two advantages should be noted above Salamence. First, Draggy has an incredible movepool, and second, it's wonderful base 91/100 HP/SDef lets it take an Ice Beam and survive. Just amazing.

Articuno: Spikes team go! Awesome poke. Base 90 HP, 100 Def and 125 SDef makes it an incredible sponge. It s a shame it has tons of weaknesses, namely a 4x rock, but it could switch out anyway.

Jynx: Tazzler's prolly gonna get stuck choosing one of these. Anyway, fast sleep, a STAB Ice Beam off a base 115 SAtk is painful.

Slaking: With monster Attack, You won't like taking hits from this, even Skarmory says that. Truant really bites it, though

Blaziken: Yeah, KFB needs more love. A sweet way of getting rid Skarmbliss.I mean STAB'd Fire and Fighting, and the stats to use it too. Lets burn!

Rhydon: 101 Subs, perfect pair up with Zapdos, and an Earthquake from a base 130 Atk, AND STAB, and still gets Rock Slide, and gets Megahorn. This thing needs more love.

Ursaring: Ursaring is underrated, it has a good movepool and gargantuan attack as well as guts to boot. It is a shame its so slow, but with ninjask boosts or para-support it can sweep. A STAB CB Guts Facade puts an >50% dent to Skarm.

Porygon2: NetBattle's pokemon icon. Why must this thing be a no-sight? Trace and this makes it one of the most fun poke to use.

Moltres: Underrated dude. STAB Fire Blast puts a 40% dent to Blissey at max after a Sunny Day IIRC. And XD gave it some nice improvements with Extrasensory (for in game), Morning Sun (yay, healing boost), and Will-o-Wisp (Heracross fears switching into Moltres). It needs more love.

Other: Anything else really. Regirock/Flygon/Shedinja/Houndoom are just some underrated "others".

My list:

Jynx: XD: Jynx is a very cool pokemon. She obviously has a nice Special and Speed stat. Having Stab on the best type (tied between EQ Imo), he ice beam is dangerous to many OU pokemon such as Celebi, Zapdos, and Salaemence. Tis a shame that her survival stats is so bad. Her HP is really bad and if it got a later boost in later games that would be a lifesaver. Her defense is also low (3rd lowest of fully evolved: Blissey and Deoxys-F come before her) that any physical attack would OHKO her as well as the rare 2HKO her. I guess it represents that we as a humankind are extremely weak in general (LOL Pokemon Philosophy). A boost would be appreciated. Ice isn't the best defensive type so if it as a whole got a little more resists than that would be good. She also needs a better special movepool, I think Surf and/or Thunderbolt (or even punch) would help her out some more. It is also a shame that two of her counters are one of the most common pokemon in the current metagame (Snorlax and Metagross). Pair her up with dugtrio and you are good. In fact, Airlock you have inspired me to make a jynx team. XD Also, she can be a decent perish trapper and works well with spikes. Lovely Kiss is also a must.

Gardevoir: Let's see- we have here one of the sexiest pokemon with one of the sexiest movepools. She has a choice of three juicylicious status moves as well as the ever so useful Wish. I'm pretty much sure Orion(-Sama) would agree with me on this. She has a ton of cool moves to work with like Mean Look, Taunt, Destiny Bond, as well as other sexylicious moves to work with. Decent survivability with the special attack stat the same as the almighty zapdos, she can be a monster (a sexy one).

Houndoom: Ahh Houndoom. What can be said about this pokemon other than the fact he ***-rapes to the bone many OU standard such as gengar and celebi. Heracross and Metagross burn at his infernos. Swampert/Salamence can feel the wrath of his orbs representing the forest or the icy tundra. Blissey gets beat up by Beat Up (I wouldn't use it, revealing your team is meh) and Snorlax can feel a 1st degree burn forcing it to rest or making its attacks fall of harmlessly. Any pokemon that decides to switch will be meet swiftly with a deadly pursuit, some even killing it instantly. Houndoom is a great pokemon and should be considered a threat to any team.

Steelix: Steelix is IMO the best current physcial wall. The ground weakness hurts, though. Gettign STAB on EQ and Iron Tail doesn't mean he has to sit there and stall to death like skamory. (His attack is sorta bead though). Electrics fear him. Returns/Rock Slides/Hidden Power {Flyings}/Meteor Mashes/Megahorns/Shadow Balls/Hidden Power {Grass/Ice}/Psychics/Crunches just slide off his metallic hide. UnStabbed EQs are a 4hko at best and besides you can always switch to another pokemon. Countering Boah sorta is always good if you have probelsm with it. Good pokemon.

Other. Machamp is so underrated it isn't even funny. Who cares if it's slow? His defenses are decent enough, his HPs above average, and a max 394 Attack stat and Cross Chop is NOT something you mess with.

Houndoom is ****ing awesome though, he served me well in Silver before I lost the data.

Blaziken can be nasty with HP Grass to cover his weaknesses. With the right EV's, he can be force to be rekoned with.

Rhydon can be very useful!!! He has some of the greatest attacks in the world... :D

I have to say Blaziken. Poor beast has taken a considerable drop in popularity, battle or otherwise. People are so determined to think that it's overrated that they don't stop to see how underrated it has become. Which is a shame, because, as AirLock said, Fire and Fighting STAB coupled with massive Offenses is nothing to laugh at.

Apart from Blaziken, Porygon2. This thing is versatile like nothing I've ever seen before, tbh. Great Stats, great movepool, and great Type. Porygon2 needs more usage.

Moltres can be a monster when used right, especially in Double Battles.

Ursaring is fairly cool as well, so it deserves a mention.

Rhydon isn't used nearly as much as it should be.

And hardly anyone realizes what a beast Slaking is in battle.

For the Others option, Hariyama obviously. Absolutely amazing Physical movepool, incredible HP, excellent Attack....Someone care to tell me why Hariyama isn't more widely used? It's awesome in every meaning of the word.

How is Blaziken underated?
It is the N00bs that want to be differents plaything. Even nonN00bs adore it. I hate it.

Other: Ninetales.
Underated compared to Arcanine but it is one of the best pokes ever imo

General Blaze

Not the face!
Where is the love for Hitmonlee I ask you? A Jolly natured CB Hitmonlee with Max EVs in Attack can wallop and outrun a lot of things, espesically the slower OUs.

Blaiziken is underrated because no one uses it a lot and people don't appreciate the fact it is awesome.

Urasiring/machamp are monsters, but their speed hinders them from sweeping without outside support.

Typhlosion is underrated. The people who don't go for 'Zard always choose Blaziken. She doesn't have much over Blaziken except for Speed and some neglegible defenses, but she can compete well in 3 metagames and totally dominate in one. How many other Pokemon can say that?

She really should get Crunch. WHY again does Sceptile learn it when he has no teeth at all?

I say Porygon2 is underated because people think they are really bad in Pokemon battles but I have 2 and I find them better than a Rayquaza

But of course I agree. :D

Though Gardy gets enough recognition as is, at least in my opinion. Could be said she gets a bit too much, but eh... ;)

Pinsir and Magmar, definitely. I must address Magmar this time, though. Look at that Movepool he bestows! Puts pretty much any other non-Über Fire Pokémon to sheer shame. Flamethrower, Thunder Punch, Psychic, Cross Chop/Focus Punch and Confuse Ray... awfully surprising and variated. The Stats are awfully awesome as well. About his ONLY lacking Stats are Defense and HP, which is to be expected. No Pokémon can be perfect. The rest are pretty good. And the looks aren't too shabby either. Pimptastic flame duck. And even then, he is always ignored in favor of most other Fire Pokémon. He's lucky if he's more popular than Rapidash or Camerupt. Even then, I doubt he is... which is a big shame... :(

I don't remember when/if Slaking was underrated, but I haven't played the metagame much recently so that's just me.

When I snagged him this morning, he looked like Elvis D:

Rapidash is getting some recognition now as people start clamoring for her to learn Earthquake and Megahorn. I find this obnoxious, as I hate Rapidash. *shot*

*is one of them* Blame Kelly, she's as nuts about Rapidash as I am about Sneasel. O:

Speaking of underrated Pokemon... SNEASEL. Seriously. Ignore the 4x weakness to Fighting and give her a chance, she is great fun to use, has great attacking power and speed and is smexy to boot. Hey, don't give me that biased look. *sweet smile*

Sticking to the poll my vote goes to Porygon2. Generally user friendly and if you're lucky to have one trace Wonder Guard... >D

I don't like Rapidash because she has a boring and genric design, and she's a horse (my sister likes horses, so it's kind of sibling rivalry)

Ampharos is also underrated. He's got a decent movepool and the best defenses that you'll find in an electric type. Plus, he looks ADORABLE with Typhlosion <3

Fair enough reason.

My Ampharos on Silver served me very well indeed.

Misdreavus is underrated. Put those Gengars down and give Missy D some loving. You cannot best the original Perish Trapper.

Dunsparce is an underrated pokemon. I always have a lot of fun with mine, beating 6 pokemon with "that puny worm" quoted my cousin. His face was priceless when I whipped him with my Dunsparce:D

MAGMAR AND ELECTABUZZ. I think they both represent the coolest designs of their respective types, and any competitive battler will tell you they're excellent UUs, or at least very good. Magmars movepool may not be huge, but what its got it puts to good use, with the coveted thunderpunch fo water types; and Electabuzz has an excellent movepool for an electric type with a good attack stat to back it up. Other then them, I have a few other standouts.

I've used Flareon in mainstream play, and I can tell you personally that its massive attack power can be a beast. Even a shadow ball from Flareon hurts, which is really saying something. Its lacking in special, but it doesn't need that with its physical movepool.

Dragonite is not underrated per say, but its movepool owns Salamences, and I hate Salamence enough to say Draggys better just for spite.

And of course Porygon 2. I have also used that in mainstream competitive play and it did an excellent job for me. It has a really fun movepool full of novelty moves and good attacks alike, and its high special attack means all the ice beams and thunderbolts are put to good use. The added bonus is that the Porgyon line are, IMHO, one of the single most original designs out of any pokemon and I love the way they look
