underused

WHERE IS PIDGEOT?!
erm i think there was something a while back in the FRLG section about underused pokemon, and people came up with lists and they discussed what they wanted to see that trainers never use (STRONG AND WORTHY PLEASE). im gonna start with Golduck (although it apeared in the hoenn league) and... Fearow. and seadra.

Been here, typed that~

You-know-who isn't on that list, but damn, you all know that tune off by heart now.

Currently the Underused Pokemon I most want to see are Dunsparce, Murkrow [that's why I'm hoping Harley will have one], Misdreavus, Delibird, Porygon2 [like that's going to happen], and Relicanth.

Given that those are biased as they're all favourite Pokemon of mine. And note that most of them are Johto Pokemon, which proves two things: Johto Pokemon are shafted, and I love Johto Pokemon in general <3

I want to see Seadra again, last time I remember seeing him was in the Indigo League. Or did he appear after that?

First gym of Orange Islands featured a Seadra.

I tend to agree with .Combusken. I'd love to see Harley have a Murkrow also.

Jupetta. Harley's Jupetta-chan is the only one we've seen, and despite being in two episodes in a row, he only got about four minutes of screentime (that's counting the time of the appeal and the double battle; the count would be much less for actually on-screen time). Come on Harley, use your pretty buddy again!

Ah... Well, obviously the Porygons are underused/not used at all. And everything that everyone else mentioned of course. I don't want to list them all out though. ^^;

Feebas. It got about 4 seconds of screentime. And I mean an actual one, not a Feebikarp like what James bought. There's possibilities for an ep where a trainer wants a Milotic, and the gang has to find berries and blend them. May could get some pokeblocks to feed the group, or anything like that. The person could even enter the next contest. The only downside is another Milotic.

Gardevoir. Come on, how long did a real Gardevoir get? About a minute?

Also, bring in a Murkrow that ISN'T a pokemon that annoys the Pichu bros.

If Harley didn't have a Banette, I would have listed it as well. But seeing as he does have one, that can only mean we'll be seeing more of it as he participates in Contests and such. Hopefully.

We better damn well see more of it...it's my favourite Harley Pokemon D:

I repeat: Gardevoir.

Word. And why don't we throw in a Kirlia somewhere too...she needs some love.

Or used as a plot device?
The only Murkrow of importance we've seen was with that crazy Magician Girl [in which it had a 50 second battle and used Icy Wind >.>]. Other than that, Murkrow are always pesky little birds who annoy the group for convenience or backround Pokemon that just fly across the screen.

See: "All that Glitters!", "Like a Meowth to a Flame".

Porygon and Porygon 2. The seizure incident was 9 years ago! Why can't people get over it already.

Golduck appeared in ''Abandon Ship'' as well as the Hoenn League. I think Porygon and Porgygon 2 are the most underused Pokemon of them all. Hypno too.

Qwilfish, Starmie, Pinsir, especially Beedrill, Rapidash, Shedinja, Golem, Ledian, Lanturn, and DUNSPARCE!!!!

At least Hypno got a League Battle and a few appearences...

especially Beedrill
Ahaha...Beedrill. Beedrill's in Murkrow's boat...actually it should be the other way around seeing as Beedrill's been abused a lot more. 'Tis a shame Beedrill's Plot Device scenes can't be converted into Battles...then I'd be one Battle-Used mofo.

Anywhays, I cannot believe no one has said Sharpedo except Gravy. Sharpedo has had a single episode to itself, and the rest is just cameos. Wouldn't you think that a fierce Pokemon with a bad reputation would been seen doing A LOT of battling?

Blame its lack of legs.
Hmm...I guess that's true.

But Ash and Co. have crossed a lot of water and done a lot of Island Hopping during Hoenn. Surely they could have worked a trainer with a Sharpedo, or even a proper battle with that Sharpedo School in there, couldn't they?

Kyuukon, dammit! It'd be sweeter if history repeated itself with Haruka... watch the Katsura gym battle to see what I mean. ^^

All the Houen fossil Pokemon besides Armaldo. The afforementioned Nokotchi, Lanturn, Hariisen, and Samehader. Speaking of the last three, it'd be nice if we saw water Pokemon battling on land more often. Despite what they lead on, they're perfectly capable of moving and fighting on land. Kasumi's Tosakinto, in the first mini-movie, hopped on its belly, and was only a touch slower than the other Pokemon. Bigger Pokemon, like Laplace and Whaleou, I imagine could use their fins to slide around like a sea turtle on a beach (hey, these Pokemon aren't exactly speed demons in the games). Oh yeah, they really need to show a Doble using Sketch, as well as a Butterfree using a god damned psychic technique.
