WAIT - Someone help me here, who is Alders Grandson?
And we have to battle throughout Black City - That's great, now it has much more use then it did in BW!

Edit: For some reason, everyone is guessing it's Hilbert/Hilda - hmm, not too sure tbh.

Also, you can color in Gardenia, as proven by the BW2 Sinnoh theme remix posted earlier.

SO. PUMPED. Not only is Black City relevant to the rest of the game now, but Alder has a grandson, and we can battle him! Wow, Alder is old

I wonder what his team is, and what White Forest offers...

I don't see Hilbert or Hilda being his Grandchild for some reason, I mean why wouldn't we have figured it out in BW if that were the case?

What if Alder's grandchild isn't somebody new, but somebody that already exists in the Pokemon universe?! It'd probably have to be somebody from the Hoenn games as we don't know the exact time these games are set, or from Sinnoh/Johto as they're not far off from the time line.

But it would be cool to see a totally new sprite/character.

I believe BW take place 5 years or so after the events of HGSS/DPPt, so these games will take place 2 years after that.

Alder is battleable; Accelgor Lv. 60, Escavalier Lv. 60, Bouffalant Lv. 60, Conkeldurr Lv. 60, Braviary Lv. 60 & Volcarona Lv. 62

His team is the same for the most part, not sure about Braviary and Conkeldurr
Although his levels are interesting, I wonder when we can battle him.

Edit : Yeah I figured. Conkeldurr and Braviary are new additions over Vanilluxe and Druddigon!

Am I the only one who's not thrilled that his team is still half Bug? Why couldn't he replace those goddamn Accelgor and Escavalier?

Oh. Whoever said the rematch teams have remained the same lied, then. Although, looking at them, I swear I remember battling those teams.

I think that was my bad. I could've sworn we've seen those teams too, but I checked and it really is different, so I edited my post.

Lets assume it's someone else, I wonder what kind of team said person will have!
These games are getting better by the minute, so many options and replay value!

Yeah I guess it would have been better to take out the Accelgor.
Escavallier is a strong Pokemon, with great typing.
I'm just glad he got rid of Vanilluxe, love it's design but it's not fitting for Alder.
Braviary makes much more sense, and kinda suits him :]]

Most likely because he's a Bug-type specialist. Accelgor and Escavalier aren't that bad, anyway.

Though... I'm hoping that the levels are beefed up on hard mode.

Because both Accelgor and Escavalier are awesome Pokémon and he is clearly a bug-type specialist.
