The English version is coming and the English-subtitled/Japanese-voiced version is already in anime stores in malls around the country.
I was one of the very few who got one of those Japanese DVDs.
To tell ya the truth, I didn't know that it was Japanese til I finally looked at the back. I would've returned it, but I lost the reciept for the $27 DVD which had only English and Swedish subtitles and no extras.
In one of the reviews of the Japanese Advent Children DVD I read, they said that it didn't have English subtitles. The DVD I got can't be a fake!
Anyways, here's my short, spoiler-free review of the movie........
GOOD: The storyline, the music, even the remix of One-Winged Angel, and the fast, and sometimes literally ground-breaking (as in in the movie, not where you're watching it) battles. Mostly....THE BATTLES! YOU GOTTA SEE TO BELIEVE!
BAD: The gang is back, but didn't get too much action, unlike the star Cloud. The movie is a bit short, feels like a filler and it left us with more questions. >_< *fart* Ahhhhhhh.....
OVERALL: The best game-based movie EVER, as in 20 times better than the other ones, especially the upcoming Bloodrayne, as in it doesn't suck.
It's worth getting.
SCORE: 8.7 out of 10.0.
