Two weeks ago people here were adamant that they weren’t even close to Rakua, including you lmao
True, but assuming that HZ will end soon even though there was no such information from the creators is a completely different thing.

I will say that if this was Liko's last adventure, they would have announced it as so in this last trailer. They showed it as the climax of Rakua, but there is no advertisement about this being the last episodes with Liko and the others. I feel they would give it more emphasis if it was the end.

We did have both raboot and riolu evolve duringt he darkest day arc... so maybe it'll be a plus ultra moment and all three evolve at once lol makes sense especially if there's going to be a timeskip

Anyway, do you guys think starters are going to evolve in this arc?
The biggest evidence for me that the series would be continuing is that the starters haven’t fully evolved. Roy’s Crocalor can without a doubt completely upstage Friede’s Charizard at this point, but I don’t think it’ll defeat it as a Crocalor but instead as a Skeledirge. I don’t think they would pass up on Meowscarada promo personally haha.

However again, we still have a handful of episodes in March, they might handle all that then lol

Not to mention we also have Deko Akao from the prior series (who did Scream Tail's debut episode) as well. They are the only writers from the prior era who have been involved with Horizons so you can tell they wanted a mostly clean slate of new writers for a new era.

That felt like the vibe early on. Now, they're starting to come into their own with these recent episodes. Maybe the next series might be a complete sweep.

Lmfao went back through my posts and I never said anything like we weren't close to Laqua, in fact I was only one episode off of where I said they'd grab 5th hero

Last I checked the last Laqua disaster became a hundred of years split off event, not hard to see our own heroes struggle to get back there for one more season's worth of episodes

The last Rakua disaster happened suddenly and without warning, they didn’t even know what it is they were fighting over. Here they are fully prepared and clearly have a game plan, along with a lot more heads to join the battle. It would be hard to imagine the group somehow failing in this conflict despite how much the odds are currently stacked in their favor.

Tsuchiya literally just wrote the Gouging Fire episode...
That made me realize that the past seven episodes all had a different writer and through that showcased the current seven script writers working on the show.
- 76: Naohiro Fukushima
- 77: Kimiko Ueno
- 78: Naruki Nagakawa
- 79: Dai Satō
- 80: Deko Akao
- 81: Michihiro Tsuchiya
- 82: Kureha Matsuzawa

I'm expecting that Kureha Matsuzawa's going to be seen quite a bit over these next few episodes since he's been writing a lot of the massively plot heavy episodes. Some of his most notable ones includes episodes 7 (Rayquaza and Gibeon's debut), 44 and 45 (the Explorers battle which was the climax for the Terapagos arc), 54 (the Exceed company debut as well as our first sight of the Laquium), 64 and 65 (Amethio getting fired from the Explorers), 74 and 75 (Lucius backstory) and last week's episode with the Rayquaza battle.

Could see Dai Sato also doing some episodes as well.

I'm predicting the writers for 83 to 89 will be Naruki Nagakawa for 83, Michihiro Tsuchiya for 84, Dai Sato 85, 86 Kureha Matsuzawa, 87 Naruki again, 88 and 89 Dai Sato or Kureha Matsuzawa for both.
