Ash vs New rival - Ash (but this person will beat him at the League)
Dawn vs Cilan - Dawn

Round 4:
Ash vs Dawn - Ash

Round 5:
Ash vs Trip - Trip

Semifinals:
Cynthia vs Caitlin - Cynthia
Alder vs Trip - Alder

Finals:
Cynthia vs Alder -Alder

Unfortunately... I still dream of a finale reunion episode where all of his past companions join Ash either at the lab or to watch him at the Champions League should it ever happen.

Normally it's the protagonists job to lose, and then ultimately win again especially at the league. I don't really like this idea for that reason, and the fact that the rival will barely have been developed after we meet him.

Ash vs Trip - Trip

I really think that Ash should lose to Cynthia, Alder or Caitlin here. Trip isn't all that much of a big threat and the rivalry between them isn't that intense, if Ash loses personally to me it'll just seem like the writers are making him a joke.
