Plot
Welcome to Utopia, the online world where you can play as anything you want, and live freely in a fictional realm. Millions of players have already joined, and more and more towns are piling up as you watch this commercial. Register and join a town now, build it up with your fellow players, and play to rule! Don’t feel like doing your usual day job? Gain EXP points by doing tasks for friends or knocking out monsters! Tired of your old town? Move to a new town! Be completely free in this new realm as you play in our Utopia!

The commercial disappears as you turn off the T.V. You look down to your Christmas gift, the Utopia game system. As you put on your headphones and goggles, the world reveals itself to you. It shows a field filled with wild flowers. Incredible realistic for a simple MMO, isn’t it?
This is the newest game on the market. Almost everyone has heard of it, and half of them have it themselves. The commercials show you amazing scenery. Mountains, caves, fields, except they look real. When you look at your character you see a better version of yourself. When you look down at your Pokemon, you think it may be the real deal. And the best part: NO REMOTES. The box says to just put on the headset and microphone and enjoy the ride while using your brain to choose your options. Cool, I think so.

As a trainer in this world, you start in a small town with only a few players at your level. With you and your Pokemon's help, you can make the town turn into a city, and have more and more players travel to your town. But what if you don't want to build up a town? Well, you do have to help a bit before you move along, but you can also achieve yourself as a traveler. Travel to other towns and meet new players! Maybe you can even have a battle or two. You always have the option to back home.

Create your character to look however you want! Blue hair? Sure! Yellow eyes? That's cool! Pikachu outfit? As long as you buy it at the PokeMart, it's cool!

Do your Pokemon feel bare? But some clothes for them at the PokeMart! Dress them with ribbons, scarves, tattoos, and even makeup!
A bubble pops up in this virtual meadow.
“New Game?”

You have gained the Utopia gaming system for Christmas and have clicked the button at the same time. Seeing as how millions of people get this game each year, this isn’t too much of a coincidence. As you play the game as a trainer working in a small town that is growing, you will be revealed to the Utopia.

One thing's for sure. This ain't your ol' Virtual Boy.

Yes, they most certainly do. And your plot fails to meet the length requirement stated in said rules. The actual plot-line for your RP needs to be at least 400 words, and yours hits 230.

Some things to consider:
Is this a Pokemon RPG? Because Pokemon are never once mentioned within your plot. Does this take place in the real world where the game is the Pokemon world? Is this the newest game for Poke-fans? Say so. And don't just give us audio from the commercial - give us visuals so we have some idea of what to expect, and can get excited about it.

Why would people want to play a Pokemon game where the focus isn't on Pokemon? It sounds more like playing The Sims, creating towns and spending time making money from jobs. People play Pokemon to escape their mundane lives by going on journeys and exploring a new world, not to wait tables or deliver mail. Where is the appeal in this?

Tell us more about the game, how you play it, what it's like. Because putting on goggles and looking at a field sounds like the game Flower, not a Pokemon game inhabited by trainers and monsters. How do you move around, interact with players, battle, catch Pokemon, check your inventory? What are the rules and restrictions of the game? What is the goal, other than making money?

How does this world work and how is it set up? If half the appeal is in creating towns, and moving to new ones, why have you only detailed this one single town? Give more detail what what's so exciting about these towns and why we'd rather be in a virtual town than a real-world town.

Additionally, an image does not replace physical description. Plus you're just encouraging people to use other character designs instead of putting in the effort to create and be original. It's lazy, and it's not acceptable. Appearance, Personality and Background should each be at least 100 words.

Are players' avatars exact representations of what they look like in real life? Can they choose a username? Can they choose to play as a boy or as a girl? Can they design their avatars? And can they have Pokemon? Considering that Pokemon games are about Pokemon, how do they fit into this world, how do people obtain them, will they have interesting, interactive personalities or be as mindless as any other usable item in a video game?

Please consider these things and make the appropriate edits. When building an entire new world for players to inhabit, you need to make it detailed and interesting so RPers know the world and how to interact with it. This isn't something you just come up with in five minutes; take the time to consider these things, as they will affect the players for the entire RPG.
