Playing through White and as I always do I purchase beverages from the Vending Machines dotted around Unova.

So I wondered if anyone did or does the same when they play? Any opinions on the accessibility of them? Do you miss them in newer gens?

Did you ever get the free beverages?

I never really understood why Isshu (Unova) had so many vending machines: at first I thought it was a stereotypical American thing, but I don't remember seeing that many vending machines out in public when I lived in the United States, and I'd say that Japan has more vending machines than the United States does. That being said, I often purchased drinks from them in B/W/B2/W2. I don't remember if I ever got freebies, though.
