What's your reason for the Rocky Helmet on Skarmory? I understood the item's rise in popularity when Mega Kanga was running around, but I never understood why it never fell when the brute got banned. Leftovers are invaluable - my Mega Venusaur can tell you that all too well.

I can see easy it is for Mixed Aegi to spam Shadow ball carelessly. I'd suggest investing full ev's on special defense for heatran.
Use Soft-Boiled over Moonlight. extra pp is crucial and it's not hindered by weather.
Venusaur & Keldeo seems like a solid threat to this team especially when paired w/ Aegi.
I also think its kinda weird to have Gardevoir and Clefa in the same team since they both shares similar role, so I'd suggest r0eplacing Gardevoir w/ defensive Venu to handle Keldeo and as a reliable switch pivot against pesky volt-switching Rotom.

Also, I think Scolipede is kinda useless. I can't think of any good replacement atm.

Rocky Helmet is still good. Giant threats like Mega Mawile, Pinsir, gyara don't appreciate any forms for chip damages. Its great to deal damages while you'r busy keeping your health as high as possible w/ roost and wait for a chance to whirlwind/brave bird.

Considering that Mega Kanga is not the only physical threat out there, Rocky Helmet can really hurt contact users with that kind of extra damage.

Replacing M-Gard with M-Venus.
Also, replacing Fire Blast with Stored Power, as it does a bit more for Clef, and Heatran can use Fire moves to help it.
Finding a replacement for Scolipede.
Tempted to use a Regenerator……

Wait but you have moonlight on clefable, do softboiled instead as it has like 8more pp than moonlight
plus replace dazzling gleam with moonblast, moonblast has more power yo
Fire blast I suppose is okay as it has more immediate power and its miss chance isnt that high (you could replace it with flamethrower tho)
> what does stored power cover? poisons? i think a fire type move would be more useful..

And what do the speed evs do for heatran? wouldnt it better just to make it more bulky, like add in spec defensive

At some point, I switched BalloonExca fo Mega Aggron (although I realized I dun goofed when I gave it Dragon Rush).
After facing that TR team, I decided to scrap both Test Teams containing Trick Room. It isn't prevalent, and can be takent advantage of by slow bulky utility mons and attack mons.

Voting for the CCAT ends tomorrow at dusk (EST)

Well, of course, but I kind of see it as unnecessary. It might just be the way I play, but from my experience, it's not nearly enough of an advantage to outweigh an items as good as leftovers.

Did the rocky helmet get a huge buff since last gen, or is it just suddenly stylish?

Of course, it's stylish! I'd wear it anyday to the Peer-Pressured atmoshpere of LA.
It didn't get a huge buff; it's just really useful. It's an item that lends itself to the concept of bulky offense.

Ah, I see. That explains a lot.

...In all seriousness, I'm still a little skeptical of it, but I suppose I'll go with it. You know how the saying goes. "If I fitz, I sitz". LOLcats can teach you some good philosophy.

I'll probably get a banner too.

What does everyone think of Smogon's latest suspects? Ban both of them IMO.
Agreed. They're both far too good at setting up early entry hazards, providing a team with an easy advantage early in the match. But of the two of them, I'd say Deoxys-S is even worse for it's unpredictability. It has a wide variety of coverage moves, and it is also the single fastest Pokemon to exist, so that makes it very difficult to keep in check.

Which is why you keep a Life Orb /Choice band Rock Slide / Stone Edge user on your team. That and SR, because both formes become vastly weaker with that hazard (Zard X hates SR and spikes).

Like Adamant Aegi with priority Shadow Sneak obviously doesn't chip off at least some damage from Deo-S, pfft, no way.
Deo-D is a different story, and really fun to put on your Ubers teams.

Round Three

So let's pick our third member. This Pokémon should be standard OU, but still able to maintain synergy with the rest of the team and especially Wigglytuff.

The submissions period is on now! Guild members may now submit a single set.

My submission:
Defensive Rotom- W
########
Rotom-W @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 216 Def / 44 Spe
Bold Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp / Thunder Wave
- Pain Split

PS and Lefties for stackable recovery.
Volt Switch for increasable momentum to teammates.
Wisp for burns and neutering set-up physical sweepers, and forcing switches. Thunder Wave can be another option to half opponents speed, and to a much more situational aspect, allow Rotom to spam H-Pump, or let Wigglytuff use PerishSong successfully with a chance to not get hit the same turn.
